# Section III. Conduct Regulations
### 1.1 Professionalism
As an employee of the Training Division, you are an example to Cadets. You should remain professional at all times. Grammar should be used in professional settings. A lack of professionalism symbolises incompetency - this is something that will not be tolerated in our division.
### 1.2 Conflicts of Interest & Bias
In the event of someone coming into the academy which you are friends with or have some sort of potential bias, you may not take that Cadet on evaluations. Instructors should never be biased, and should treat every Cadet equally.
### 1.3 Respect
Despite Cadets being your subordinates, and you having authority over them, you should still have respect for them. Instructors should treat everyone around them with respect, and should never make disrespectful or derogatory comments towards anyone.
### 1.4 Confidentiality
Training Division documentation is classified, and shall not be shared with anyone outside of the division without permission from the Training Lieutenant or above (with the exception of the BDT curriculum being used during BDTs). Upon Cadets asking for notes outside of a training, the request should be denied and the Cadet should be told to re-attend the training if they missed any notes.
#### 1.5 Sheriff’s Office Policy
Especially whilst with Cadets, Sheriff’s Office Policies shall always be followed. Violation of policy during training can and will result in removal from the Training Division and Internal Affairs Action.
