Sopa de palabras multilingual Prompted: Sarah, prompted free writing: * If clouds could talk they'd tell us how it feels to be so full of data, engorged and bursting, from deep galaxies to cats in hats, endless strings of 1's and 0's, binaries. Memory overflow. * If clouds could talk they'd tell us how it feels to be trapped under the weight of the world's infrastructure, streaming songs, saving docs, computing unknown edges of the universe. So much work, so much traffic, moving all the time. * hello sarah - i love this<3 +1 Anne (prompted free writing 1) if clouds could talk they'd tell us how it feels to have humans call their black boxes, whirring, stored somewhere in Iceland, in Virginia, in Hall instead of looking up-- my guess is, maybe, not good (prompted free writing 2 - responding to Sarah's poem!) if clouds of other kinds could talk maybe they would say that they in fact weren't black boxes at all, but in fact infinity rooms to be explored, shared, stored and maybe they would say, instead of looking up, we might also look around and see the clouds that hold us up like atlas \& the world and not only look down Long prompted: love!<3 Let at wall an an a form of well the at for this twat wild fall mist Symposium of meaningless practices to keep us professinally useless. Industrial nothing-making eating the world. It's free what we need, anarchy. Object Story: - Branch: I used to be bigger, I think, taller, more complex. I remember roots, leaves, limbs, don't I? I breathed, sort of, and grew fruits. Grey squirrels all around me, foxes hiding. What am I now? I'm just a piece, yet I'm me. No leaves, no roots, no trunk. Is the rest of me still me or is it them now? Babet is all it took, left me lying around. And then a saw, so small, such quick work. No self without funciton, can I still be? I remain between between beings, not a tree, not a branch anymore; nothing else yet. What do I want to be? The knife thinks I will like making babies laugh, I may try. But what my shape will be I will need to decide. Force me and I will break, listne and I will flourish - a friend shared this poem in response to the ones about clouds: i was told a tale about two clouds one air, one metal each lined with silver one blows winds of change the other rides them they may never meet but they will always dance together in their own kind of blue sky! #### Contribution Session (time block 4, 17:00 - 19:30) - Host - Arielle Time (UTC) / Suggested agenda --------------- ------------------------------------------------------- 17:00 - 17:10 / Kick-off, check-ins 17:10 - 17:30 / Introductions, Icebreakers \& mixers 17:30 - 18:00 / Onboarding and resource - preparing for the Book Dash 18:00 - 18:10 / Break 18:10 - 18:45 / First Pomodoro :tomato: 18:45 - 18:55 / Quick report out 18:55 - 19:30 / Second Pomodoro :tomato: 19:30 - 19:30 / Optional Discussion and follow ups Notes: Name / Comment / Insights and report out / What's your favourite season \& seasonal activity? * Alexandra / working on the Governance contributions methods / Summer - go to the beach and read there while * * Arielle / working on data feminism section / Autumn - long walks in beautiful leaves, cosy hot chocolates, and baking * * Cari / working on Ai in judicial decision-making / Summer - just walk around and feel warm * María / Working on improvements for the translation chapters / Spring if I'm in the city, Summer to go hiking in the patagonia * David L-J / Starting on "code review" section today / The bit between the seasons when everything is changing (especially summer -> autumn and winter -> spring) * Anne / drafting documentation for our share-outs on friday! / really enjoyed the writing session earlier / sunny winter days - ski-touring up a mountain, solo or with friends! * Alejandro /chat with Maria about some history/background of the Spanish translation team + review open-hardware PR and other PRs / spring [bye bye horrible winter], walks along blooming trees * Kalle / working on content for project management methodologies \& frameworks / anything warm, whether that be southern winter or northern summer + spending time on a beach or cliff with a clear view of the ocean * * Esther / reading all the PRs opened by Sophia on inclusive events! / Bring back summer please. * Patricia/ reviewing the WIP Inclusive Events Communications Subsection#3327/autumm * #### Contribution Session (time block 5, 20:00 - 22:00) - Host - Arielle Time (UTC) / Suggested agenda --------------- ------------------------------------------------------- 20:00 - 20:10 / Kick-off, check-ins 20:10 - 20:30 / Introductions, Icebreakers \& mixers 20:30 - 21:00 / Second Pomodoro :tomato: 21:00 - 21:10 / Break 21:10 - 21:30 / Second Pomodoro :tomato: 21:30 - 22:00 / Optional Discussion and folmantleotes: Name / Comment / Insights and report out / What's your favourite season \& seasonal activity? * Liz, summer, water, swim, flowat, fresh produce * Jesica Formoso / Continue to review the inclusive events PR / Spring * David L-J / Continuing on "code review" section / The bit between the seasons when everything is changing (especially summer -> autumn and winter -> spring), long walks in the rain. * Gigi/continue working on Data Feminism chapter/harmattan season [it's a West African thing :) ], harmattan = christmas = christmas shopping * * * * * * * * *
