# Transition: from The Turing Way RPM to SRCM BridgeAI ### Guide [TOC] ---- ## Transition Meeting Notes ### Project Management related stuff Date: 28 March - 12:30 Attendees: - Arielle - Dominica - Maya - Ale Agenda: - Timeline for transition (added by [name=Arielle]) - Appraisal timeline for current and new role - [name=Arielle] Propose that appraisal is conducted by current line manager (Arielle) with input from new line manager (Malvika) - Accesses: Compleat, Contract Tracker, PMU channels, Certify - [name=Arielle] These will all need removing - recommend we do this after final completion of appraisal - BridgeAI budget: - At the moment, the RPM role is 50% covered by core (D-ELA-004) and 50% by BridgeAI (50%) - From 1 April the SRCM will be covered by BridgeAI - Confirmed - Could the contributions done from Arielle to TTW PH be charged to BridgeAI? - BridgeAI Timesheets (for TTW PH team from April onwards) - Other Notes: - Timeline: Doing a bit of 2 jobs for a period of time of max 2 months, till the end of May. Transition plan with this timeframe in mind (Action to Ale) - Practitioners Hub next 2 months activities: EoI for Domain Experts (share with Arielle) - BridgeAI SCRM activities - Challenges to recruit a RPM for the TTW but this would take time. Maya will have a meeting with Catherine Lawrence to talk abou the PMU recruitment plan - Fast-streamer coming to BridgeAI, 0.8 FTe role, from April to Sept (6 months) / TTW PH - Schedule a meeting with Arielle, Malvika and Ale (review TTW PH year plan) - Make MS and KW aware of how understaff PMU team is - Timeline with deadlines, of TTW and TTW PH activities (add this in the handover) - Paperwork/contract is not set yet. Depending on what the contract says we will charge the budget from that date. Informal handover period _________________ Document what I do - Good document with all the details from: * For TTW: * PO's/invoices outstanding * TTW PM I will chair till the 15th April and will attend the 2 future ones, * Secretariat support for the working groups, * New activities: Jupyterhub * For TTW PH * For Skills Policy Award (Emma) * What new stuff I will support with: * TTW PH * Programming stuff for the community * Approval changes --> reset changes, no more PO's, no more finance meetings * Contract should start on the 1 April but need to sign the new contract. Notice period will increase to 3 months. * Schedule transition Meetings: 1. Arielle, Maya and Ale (programme management transition): appraisal responsibilities / Potential agenda: - Budget allocation for our TTWPH PM:50% or Arielle's time can be charged to BridgeAI? - Appraisal - 3. Arielle, Malvika, Kirstie and Anne (The Turing Way): Working groups, PM meetings, TPS team meetings but not any more to the TPS Delivery Meeting, the last one would be on 13 March - Not any more on the 27 March 4. Malvika, Kirstie, Nico, Dominica and Ale (BridgeAI tasks/priorities) - Agree the first 3-months goals 5. Arielle/Ale 1:1 will remain till MS and AAA have them set up 6.
