News

  • Anja Kräplin: The DGPs Clinical Psychology Group is working on a book for junior scientists on the topic of Open Science. An FAQ on open data and data protection challenges is also being compiled. It will take some time before it is published, as the answers need to be legally sound.

  • Denise Dörfel invites everyone to participate in her symposium on research data management at the DGPs conference.

Database for Expra Replication Studies

Denise Dörfel

There were considerations to publish the Expra replication studies of recent years, but this seems difficult for capacity reasons. The Replication Database could be a more accessible place to publish the results. Entry in the database could also be part of the Expras. The topic should be discussed again in a larger group.

ARX Data Anonymization Tool

Denise Dörfel

Denise has spoken to the developers of the tool. There is a proposed date for a digital 2x90min workshop to introduce the tool and a live demo to try it out together: 20.01.25 from 1 pm. It is suggested that the date should be moved back to the lecture-free period.

The workshop should not only be advertised internally within psychology, but could also be advertised as a cooperation between the Service Center Research Data/SLUB X OSIP.

There is the question of a remuneration. Denise will clarify our options.

Miscellaneous

We are very happy that the Center for Continuing Education is funding the facilitation of the OSIP retreat.

The next OSIP meeting is sheduled for October 23 at 2:30 pm. The link to will be sent out via the mailing list about one week before the meeting. All OSIPs are welcome to propose topics.
