OSIP Retreat

Denise and Christoph report on the current status of the retreat on 13.11.24
Outline schedule:

  • All-day event at OSL
  • Planned: 11-14 participants
  • Several rooms reserved for small group work
  • Lunch: Order pizza
  • Dinner: Campus (Hübnerstraße)
  • Facilitator: external professional person requested or ZiLL or Center for Continuing Education
  • Money via faculty (?)

Miscellaneous

  • Denise: Request from psychology regarding the anonymization of data, how exactly do you deal with special cases? There is a tool from Charité. Try out the tool together as a mini hackathon and/or invite a person to give a talk?
    https://arx.deidentifier.org/
Denise asks the developers if they are interested.
  • Christoph informs: The Faculty's “Together for Democracy” group is to be set up as an official working group by the Faculty Council.
  • Christoph asks if anyone knows the eLabFTW tool? Denise is familiar with it. It is a tool for electronic lab notebooks that is used a lot by chemistry and physics. eLabFTW is discipline-independent and open source, you can set up your own server - but that is not without difficulty and she would not recommend it. TUD/CDIO/contact point have recognized the need and are working on their own solution.
If a psychology-specific solution is necessary, then it should be a faculty-wide task, not specific to a working group
Service Center Research Data is available for support
