Introduction

My name is Andrew Gare Zebua, I have graduated in mechanical engineering from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. My research focused on the fluid mechanics of a 2D flapping airfoil. I used Ansys FLUENT to conduct my research. I worked for almost 2 years as a purchasing engineer, and had experience on several projects. Currently, I'm continuing my degree at National Taipei University of Technology as a Postgraduate Student. Now, I'm focusing on Clean Room Design and Indoor Air Quality. I’m still working with Ansys FLUENT to do my research. These are several results I did with Space Claim, Icepack, FLUENT, and Tecplot 360.

An Office Building

The building was drawn by Space Claim. It has generators, cooling towers, and electrical transformers on the roof and beside the building. To make the meshing and calculation process easier, the building was designed with simple geometry.

## Simulation of A Simple 2D Multi-Phase
### Pre-Processing

The pictures below show the model and meshing process of A Simple 2D Multi-Phase. In this simulation, water and air serve as working fluids. The purpose of this simulation was to show the flow of Multi-Phase.

### Post-Processing

In this simulation the Velocity Inlet was 0.1 m/s

:::
### Pre-Processing

The pictures below present the pre-processing stage of a 2D Vertical Axis Wind Turbine. The model was taken from the paper above and used to find the velocity profile and streamline of the Vertical Axis Wind Turbine in transient flow.

:::
### Post-Processing

Using the Ansys FLUENT program, the velocity and streamline profile of a 2D Vertical Axis Wind Turbine have been obtained. As seen, the velocity and streamline profile change depending on the time.

## Simulation of Heat Exchanger Shell and Tubes

### Pre-Processing

The pictures below present the pre-processing stage of heat transfer inside the system, with a mass flow rate of 5 kg/s. The temperature of the hot fluid is 80 deg. cel. and the cold fluid is 27 deg. cel.

:::
### Post-Processing

By using Ansys Fluent, the temperature contour inside the heat exchanger can easily identified.

## Simulation inside a clean room
### Pre-Processing

These pictures present the pre-processing stage of simulation of particles inside a clean room. The model was created by using Ansys Icepack.

:::
### Post-Processing

From the simulation I did, the streamline velocity, ratio humidity, particles distribution (such as NH3 and H2SO4 ), and temperature inside the clean room can be known.
