# Free DataCamp Licenses

The Code Academy is very pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for graduates who are looking to refresh and improve their coding skills and expand there coding knowledge. We have a number of licenses to [DataCamp](https://www.datacamp.com/), which we are excited to offer exclusively to our Code Academy community (both programs)

## What is DataCamp?

>*Learn the data skills you need online at your own pace—from non-coding essentials to data science and machine learning.*

>DataCamp is an online learning platform that helps students build data skills at their own pace. DataCamp courses include non-coding essentials like BI tools to data science and machine learning. DataCamp delivers hands-on learning experiences, including data skill assessments to track progress and provide personalized recommendations, interactive courses led by experts, practice challenges, and real-world projects.

Normally a full access plan would cost hundreds of dollars, but DataCamp have given us access to a limited number of licenses for us to share with our community.

We are opening an application here for Code Academy community members to apply for a license, which would give them full access to DataCamp courses for a year. In order for someone to get full use of the license, it will require a lot of discipline and self guided learning. With that in mind, we want the licenses to go to people who are committed to using them. As part of the application process, we ask you to take a quick look at DataCamp and tell us what courses you would plan to do, and why.
