# MY INTERNSHIP DOCUMENTATION
## WEEK 1
### DAY 1 (12/06/2023)
On the first day of my intership, I got to meet the other interns, my mentor (Yashas Shetty) and coordinator (Chaitanya). We all got assigned different roles according to our interests and skillsets. Yashas introduced us to our roles and tasks.

#### I got two different types of roles:

##### (1) UI UX:
As I am more into Human Centered Design Stuff (especially UI UX), I was being told to work on these two projects:

##### (2) video production for the ISRO and Art Science lab for the following videos:

Other than these four, 3D surround sound lab was also planned to shoot but was cancelled by Yashas later on.

## WEEK 1
### 12/06/2023 - Monday

While going for lunch, saw a racing car running nearby. After getting permission from Mr. Chaitanya, I went close to know what it was doing there. Got to know that it was a ["Formula Student" car from Manipal Institute of Technology](https://www.formulamanipal.in/copy-of-fmxx1). I introduced myself to every student member of the team and took theirs too. Had a talk and asked if I could film them while they are testing the car. They happily allowed me to do so.
I took some really nice shots with them, It was a new experince for me and got to know the basic information about [Formula Manipal](https://www.formulamanipal.in/).

It was a great pleasure to be the first person from my institute to go that close to that car and film it. It would have not been possible to get this chance if I would have not been interning here.

### 14/06/2023 - Wednesday

Karthik Krishna came to the Art Sience Lab to show the interns how a VR headset works. The other interns who are working majorly on AR VR experiences were supposed to see it. I also got to use it and it was the first time I used a VR headset. I was mesmerised and would love to work for it in future.

### 15/06/2023 - Thursday

 

After I was done shooting Arkoprabho's project, Chaitanya showed me his 360 degree THETA camera. I had never seen such a camera before in real life. Chaitanya told me how to use it and gave it to me for practice. I went out and experimented with different shots. It helped me understand better how it works.

### 18/06/2023 - Sunday

Although it was a day off for us on Sunday but I got to know from the current Leader of the Formula Manipal Team that they were testing the car again. So I went to the location to film it and know deeply about their work.

The whole team was so nice to me and they cooperated with me so well despite being so busy in testing the car. But just after a few minutes of me reachig there, the car got some big issue because of which they were unable to run it. While the team was busy correcting the issue, rather than going back home,I decided to take the one to one interviews with each member of the team. By doing this I got to know every person of the team is an expert at some specific things. I asked them the deep questions about their work and their current project.
I waited there until 8pm like this but they still couldn't fix the issue, So I wrapped up to go back home.
Although I couldn't take the running car footages this time, but I got to know many unique things about them that didn't know before.

### 22/06/2023 - Thursday

When I was on the way to Art Science Lab, I saw Formula Manipal Team was testing the car in the parking area of MIT Bengaluru. They told me it was the last day they were testing the car here, After tat they would move to the main MIT campus in udupi.
I instantly informed Chaitanya about this and asked for permission to take my time to shoot this cool testing. Thankfully Chaitanya allowed me and I spent the time with the Formula Manipal Team and took some good shots.
From morning till the evening I was patiently taking the good shots. It was a tiring day but because I was passionate to shoot it as it was their last day of testing here before their competion day, I was ready to stay there for long. I was so much time consuming because after every lap they were doing, some sort of issue used to occur in the system of the car. It would take 20 to 30 minutes for them to correct one issue.The entire team is very hard working with smart skills.
