# Github for Collaboration ## Examples to do - View https://scicomp.aalto.fi - You want to contribute. How do you understand what's going on? - Find the repository page (look at the very bottom, "welcome contributions") - Scroll down and you see a README file. It's long, so we don't read it in detail. We see that it welcomes contributions, so that's good. - **Review discussions about issues** Click "Issues" towards the top - See anything you want to contribute to? - Give a thumbs up to SECDATA addition? - Click on the "Data section is outdated one". Do you have any comments? to add to this? - **Can we see past history?** Go to page https://scicomp.aalto.fi/data/ - Click "View history" to see what has happened recently. - **Let's make some edits** - Click "Edit" to fix the error on the data page - Click the pencil icon and follow the flow to make a change. - **Review change proposals** - Go to the repository again - Click "Pull requests" - See the latest one abotu fixing links - Click the "Files changed" tab - Click "merge" - Make pull requests - RD in other window: removes Antti's permission from the page - AR: Go back to the data page and try to delete the whole sample sentence. This will now suggest opening a "pull request"
