- You want to contribute. How do you understand what's going on?
- Find the repository page (look at the very bottom, "welcome contributions")
- Scroll down and you see a README file. It's long, so we don't read it in detail. We see that it welcomes contributions, so that's good.
- **Review discussions about issues** Click "Issues" towards the top
- See anything you want to contribute to?
- Give a thumbs up to SECDATA addition?
- Click on the "Data section is outdated one". Do you have any comments? to add to this?
- **Can we see past history?** Go to page https://scicomp.aalto.fi/data/
- Click "View history" to see what has happened recently.
- **Let's make some edits**
- Click "Edit" to fix the error on the data page
- Click the pencil icon and follow the flow to make a change.
- **Review change proposals**
- Go to the repository again
- Click "Pull requests"
- See the latest one abotu fixing links
- Click the "Files changed" tab
- Click "merge"
- Make pull requests
- RD in other window: removes Antti's permission from the page
- AR: Go back to the data page and try to delete the whole sample sentence. This will now suggest opening a "pull request"
