# Resources for filming with an iPhone
## Basic Guidelines
1. Make sure to film horizontally when shooting with your iPhone
2. Use a dedicated Filmmaking app (more information on that down below)
3. Get good audio - use an external micrphone either a lav or even another iphone placed close to subject
4. Shoot in good lighting
* This isnt always possible, but making sure you have the best light possible will make for a much higher quality recording
