# PRo3D Traverse and Viewplanner Integration ## Tutorial * when using a new scene please see "Known Bugs" below * press <kbd>F6</kbd> to show or hide traverse (initial state hidden) * traverse data is packed with other libraries in %APPDATA%/Pro3D * when traverse is visible the list in the `Traverse` tab, rightmost, is populated with sols ![](https://notes.vrvis.at/uploads/upload_68b8623df8c6bead5e8658654160e131.png) * clicking the house icon puts the camera at 1.5m above the rover position and with the orientation found in the traverse file ![](https://notes.vrvis.at/uploads/upload_60b20e7bae2c255881738e895cf35d04.png) * collapsing the `Sols` list reveals traverse visualization parameters at the bottom ![](https://notes.vrvis.at/uploads/upload_9ba1442c6c8e5bc11c2033f65c21b72e.png) * one can also use the rover position and orientation at a sol to create a viewplan, note that a rover platform needs to be selected ![](https://notes.vrvis.at/uploads/upload_5eb1020d4636794ff8e868cd21d37ec3.png) * in the `Viewplans` tab (1) a viewplan with the respective Sol name can be found and is already selected. After selecting an instrument (2) we can render an image in the instrument view (3) ![](https://notes.vrvis.at/uploads/upload_3b71a5b388359fad6a82075ed8c86fdd.png) * to use the standard viewplanner select the `PlaceRover` interaction and select a rover platform. Then left-click first onto the rover location (1) and then the target it should look at (2) while holding down <kbd>Ctrl</kbd>. ![](https://notes.vrvis.at/uploads/upload_b280899f13fd2130721609c604db160f.png) ## Known Bugs * the `PlaceRover` interaction does not offer any platforms on an new scene. Workaround is to first save the scene, close the viewer, open it again and then the dropdown menu will be populated with the respective platforms.
