# The NLP game

The NLP game is a game about commnunication, conjecturing and deceiving.

## players are devaded into 4 groups:
- **human** knows a secret word
- **dummy** is supposed to know the secret word but is too dumb to remember anything. Only knows a word that is somehow related to the original secret word.
- **BIG CHEUNGUS** ???

- **ghost** knows how many characters the secret word is, need to figure out the secret word before others find out its true identity
- **judge** decides the secret word, the dummy word, and randomly assign words to all players, which also decides all players' identities.

## game procedure

**before the game starts**, everyone gets a piece of paper from the judge, if a word is written on the paper then the player is a good guy (human or dummy), otherwise the phrase `x characters` will be written on the paper, and the player is a bad guy (ghost)

the dummy does not know he is the dummy, of course.

**When the game starts** no one knows other people's identities. Only exception is that ghosts will know who the other ghosts are.

**as the game goes on**, everyone will need to pretend to be a good guy (thus knowing the secret word), and at some point everyone will need to vote on who's the ghost, and player getting the most vote will be eliminated.

The ghost can win by either figuring out the word, or eliminating n players through voting (n = number of ghosts in game)

The good guys win by eliminating all ghosts
