# Enhancement of Proposal Visibility in Fairdrive DAO through Mandatory Submission in Official Channels

## Abstract
This proposal aims to amend the current Fairdrive DAO Proposal Submission and Decision-Making Process by introducing a mandatory step. The proposed change requires that a link to each new proposal, immediately after its creation on the Colony platform, be shared in the Fairdrive DAO's official channels, specifically the Telegram group and Discussions on GitHub under the Proposals category. This adjustment seeks to enhance proposal visibility, ensuring that all DAO members have the opportunity to review, object to, or support proposals actively, thus strengthening our governance model's transparency and inclusiveness.

## Background
The current process, while comprehensive, lacks a mechanism to guarantee that all DAO members are aware of new proposals due to the absence of automatic notifications from the Colony platform. This oversight risks proposals passing through the Lazy Consensus model without adequate community scrutiny, potentially sidelining valuable feedback and engagement from the DAO membership.

## Proposal Details
- **Mandatory Submission of Proposal Links:** Upon the formal submission of any proposal on the Colony platform, the proposer must share a direct link to the proposal in the Fairdrive DAO's official Telegram group and on GitHub Discussions under the Proposals category.
- **Consequence of Non-Compliance:** Proposals not shared in the official channels within a reasonable timeframe (max 2h after submitting the proposal on Colony) will be considered unsuccessful by default, regardless of their status on Colony. This rule emphasizes the importance of community awareness and engagement in the governance process.
- **Implementation Timeline:** Upon approval, this amendment to the proposal submission process will take effect immediately, applicable to all subsequent proposals.
