--- # ZanyMen ## Your spot for inflatable men --- # Process --- We quickly settled into a specific work flow: 1. Issues are opened on our repo during a cooperative session 2. Issues are assigned and an order of work is agreed upon 3. Issues are addressed assynchronously and Pull Requests submitted 4. We review each others' pull requests and comment/request changes until both agree on a version to be merged --- We mostly communicated through Discord and agreed on a few calls throughout the project whenever the current log of issues was cleared or one of us had an issue they'd like help working through. --- # Issues --- We have had quite a few merge conflicts during our project. As you do. The biggest was when we were working on the accessability of the page. We had to add ```aria``` properties on elements so they can be read on screen readers which broke the functionality of a whole section on the page. --- Manually editing on Github was fun.  --- # Things we learned --- ### Working with different branches When trying to review each other's Pull Requests we both had to get accustomed to the GitHub layout for reviews but still wanted to find some way to run the changed code in order to look at the updated page. That was when we learned about *fetch* and *stash* ``` terminal git fetch ``` ``` terminal git stash ``` Once we started using the fetch command in the terminal it became much easier to work with different branches. --- ### Exchanging learnings Early in the project we created a discord channel with CarlMarks (since they form the other half of our work group) and exchanged some notes on our separate projects. This and the review sessions with CarlMarks and Beth & Malcolm really helped us dig into how others were interacting with out work in progress and pick up a few different tricks from them as well. --- # Outcome --- How the page looks now...  ---
