## Coinbase Verification System - How does it work?
Coinbase has a fairly broad verification system specially designed for users with different preferences. This is why the platform offers three different levels of identity verification which you can cycle through to unlock more features depending on the level of verification you have reached. **Verification level 1**
This is the most basic level of verification available on Coinbase that users can complete to trade or invest on the platform. Tier 1 verification requires users to submit photo ID and verify their phone number through the OTP to complete the process. **Verification level 2**
This is where things get interesting, as Coinbase requires level 2 verification before allowing users to withdraw their funds via wire transfer or use advanced trading features. To do this, users must verify their home address by providing a relevant document.

**Verification level 3**
Verification level 3 is the highest level of security you can achieve on Coinbase, and for this you must submit a government-issued ID along with any particular document requested by Coinbase. ## How to complete the Coinbase verification process?
