# Data Study Group Day 1 Welcome to your challenge groups! Follow this list of tastks to get yoursleves organsied and started working on the project. • **Introductions** :loudspeaker: Everyone in the group should introduce themselves including the PI and COs. Let your team know what your research and personal interests are and what you hope to get out of the event. • **Timezones & daily meetings** :watch: Find out what timezones your team is operating from and preferred working hours. Based on the timezones, establish 1 or 2 hour slots that everyone can attend each day and make these your main meetings, or your hand over meetings if you’ll have members working around the clock. • **Group rules of the game** :white_check_mark: Agree as a group your rule of the game, including meeting etiquette and communication channels. • **Timeline** :date: Have a clear time line of what needs to be completed and when. I.e the catch up presentation on Friday, main presentation session and the deadline for the report. • **Set up you KanBan boards** :pushpin: Set up your KanBan boards (using the function in GitHub or Miro). Everyone must be able to access and edit so that you can track tasls. Your facilitators can help with this.
