# SPLINTERLANDS - HOW TO PLAY
## Abilities
.|Ability|Description|

|Affliction|When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a **50%** chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed.
|Blast|Does additional **50%** damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.
|Blind|All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have an increased **15%** chance of missing their target.
|Cleanse|Removes all negative effects (that come from opponent's Monsters, not Summoner) on the Monster in the first position on the friendly team. List of negative effects: Affliction, Blind, Demoralize, Headwinds, Poison, Rust, Silence, Slow, Snare, Stun, Weaken.
|Demoralize|Reduces the Melee attack by **1** of all enemy Monsters. Reduced attack can't be below 1.
|Divine Shield|The first time the Monster takes damage it is ignored. Ability is restored after **Resurrect**.
|Dodge|Has an increased **25%** chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.
|Double Strike|Monster attacks twice each round.
|Enrage|Has increased **50%** Melee attack and Speed when damaged. Enrage is applied after Inspire/Demoralize and Swiftness/Slow.
|Flying|Has an **25**% increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability. **Flying** can be removed by **Snare**.
|Headwinds|Reduces the Ranged attack by **1** of all enemy Monsters.
|Heal|Restores **1/3** of the Monster's health each round, not less than 2.
|Tank Heal|Restores **1/3** of of the Monster in the first position's health each round, not less than 2.
|Inspire|Gives all friendly Monsters **+1** Melee attack.
|Knock Out|Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.
|Last Stand|Gains **+50% HP, Speed and Attack** if it's the only Monster on the team alive.
|Life Leech|Monster's health increases each time it damages an enemy Monster's health by 50% of the damage dealt.
|Magic Reflect|When hit with Magic damage, does **50%** reduced Magic damage back to the attacker.
|Opportunity|Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health. In case of a tie, the order is taken into account, the first monster is attacked.
|Piercing|If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health.
|Poison|Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic **2** damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.
|Protect|All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.
|Reach|Melee attack Monsters with the Reach ability may attack opponent's Tank from the second position on the team. Reach is not affected by Taunt.
|Redemption|When this Monster dies, it does **2** damage to all enemy monsters.
|Repair|Restores **2** armor to the friendly Monster whose armor has taken the most damage.
|Resurrect|When a friendly Monster dies it is brought back to life with 1 Health and full Armor. This ability can only trigger once per battle. This ability works even if the owner is stunned.
|Retaliate|When hit with a Melee attack, Monsters with Retaliate have a **50%** chance of attacking their attacker.
|Return Fire|When hit with a Ranged attack, Monsters with Return Fire will return **50**% reduced damage back to their attacker.
|Rust|Reduces the Armor by **2** of all enemy Monsters.
|Scavenger|Gains 1 max health each time any monster dies.
|Shatter|Full target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from Monsters with Shatter.
|Shield|Reduced by 50% damage from Melee and Ranged attacks.
|Silence|Reduces the Magic Attack by **1** of all enemy Monsters.
|Slow|Reduces the Speed by **1** of all enemy Monsters.
|Snare|When attacking enemies with Flying, removes the Flying ability and cannot miss.
|Sneak|Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.
|Snipe|Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.
|Strengthen|All friendly Monsters have increased Health by **1**.
|Stun|When a Monster with Stun hits a target, it has a **50%** chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
|Swiftness|All friendly Monsters have increased Speed by **1**
|Taunt|All enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to).
|Thorns|When hit with a Melee attack, does **2** damage back to the attacker.
|Trample|When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team. If the last monster is killed **there is no next monster**, so attack is not performed again.
|Triage|Rrestores 1/3 HP of the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage. In case of a tie, the order is taken into account
|Void|Reduced by **50%** damage from Magic attacks.
|Weaken| Reduces by **1** the Health of all enemy Monsters.

## Priorities
### Super Sneak
**Reach** and **Opportunity** attacks becomes **Sneak** attack.
### Melee Mayhem
Does not affect **Sneak** and **Opportinity**.
### Target Practice
Does not affect **magic/ranged Sneak**.
