### Setup
#### > Hardware Setup (do this before System Setup)
**(this takes multiple steps and can be confusing. if you have the old sensor from the NYC Chelsea exhibition, you can use th at one which is already wired up and you can skip to System Setup)**
The sensor doesn't work out of box. You need to modify it for it to be able to connect to the PC.
Steps:
1. Connect the sensor's pin to power adapter.
the brown cable is for Power+(+VIN), the blue cable is for Power-(-VIN)
1. Cut the brown and blue cable:

2. Connect the two cable to the coordinating part of the power adapter.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/PT7DjVasoGRHSDZs5
2. Extend the Ethernet and connect to USB of PC
Connect the Ethernet port to _ethernet inline connector_, on the other side of the _inline connector_, connect the long ethernet cable. On the other side of the long ethernet cable, connect the _USB adapter_, then you can plug the USB into the PC.

#### > System Setup
1. In order to get data from HOKUYO sensor, you need to configure some settings in Windows system.
Here is a tutorial:
https://sourceforge.net/p/urgnetwork/wiki/ip_address_en/
(only check out the Windows 10 part)
2. Then, you need to confirm the IP address of the Sensor:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/urgbenri/
Use this tool to change its IP address to `192.168.0.10` (it might already be it but just double check here, otherwise the program will not be able to connect to the sensor.)
detailed steps:
1. download the software **Urbbenri** and install it.
2. open the software. (name is _UrgBenriPlus.exe_)
3. Click the _Ethernet_ tab
4. Under _Data Source_, the default is `192.168.0.10`, and click the connect button(the small icon on the right side of this input field, the most left one in the three button group)
5. if connection failed, then try `192.168.0.11` and connect again.
6. now, if `192.168.0.10` works for you. You are good to skip this part, otherwise, you need to change its ip to `192.168.0.10`.
7. Being connected, click the `Change IP Address` button down there inside the Eternet tab, a window will pop and you can change its value to `192.168.0.1`. Done!
#### Installation Setup
Make sure you place the sensor in the very middle top of the interactive wall.

### Cliberation using preset screen
A new view is introduced to help you caliberate onsite without setting up the development environment.

remember to put any number (`0` for example) into **input x offset** and **input y offset** or **confirm** button wont work.
what is _interactive area width and height_ ?
the area where the sensor would cover, or, area _A1_'s width and height in physical space in millimeter(mm) (pls refer to the hand drawn sketch at the very bottom)
### Mapping
Export only **one(1)** texture.
this texture can be used for projecting to wall
- FRONT
- RIGHT
wall BACK and LEFT can be mirrors of FRONT and RIGHT.
**Note!:** only wall FRONT is interactive, meaning black holes on other walls will NOT respond to any form of user input.
