# What I Learnt Replicating Lobe in the Frontend Project Today’s project challenge was an exciting one. Though it looked like a task that could easily be accomplished, putting it to practice really showed me that there is a lot of work to be done, extensive research to be made and lots of practice to be carried out. The ‘Lobe project’ task was to replicate the web page that had a video as one of its inputs. The task involved creating the navigation section which contained the logo and name of the organization, other nav items and the download button. These were basically achieved using the `

`tag and some divs. The other part of the project includes the body element which consists of text and the video and lastly, the footer part of the project which comprises of all the footer items/socials. All these were achieved through the use of divs (`

`). The divs served as a container for grouping the different HTML elements/items used to build the webpage. Other important tags used were the anchor tag for links and the unordered list. In all, the task really opened my eyes to the fact that I still have a lot to learn. The major challenge encountered in the course of doing this project was get the nav elements to align properly. It was time consuming for me because I had to go through my codes several times and make adjustments to accomplish my goals. What I learnt from the project is the importance of planning what to code by figuring out the number of divs to use and how you want to style the page. I also realized that it is important to write down some of your plans to serve as a guide. This may be time consuming, but it will save you the trouble of trying to decode errors and help you structure your web page well. Building this webpage with only HTML and CSS has been very educative and the patience of the mentors who taught us these courses have been really helpful. I hope to continue to build on the knowledge gained daily and task myself with more challenges and strive for greater tasks.
