# Architecture Course - Problem 4
# #4 Identity-Management
We find ourselves in the same small town of the last exercise. The peer-to-peer payment system is a success! Everyone is really happy with it.
Now, other towns and regions want to clone our system, which would give rise to a multiplicity of DHTs and membranes. We want to be able to manage identities in such a way that merchants from one town can go to another town.
For this exercise, we want to focus specifically in the identity-management side of things. Here are the challenges we want to focus on:
- How do we manage identities, profile and personal information, in a context of multiple membranes and DNAs?
- We want to foster local regional economy. How can we build a system that can enable trust in that a person that we don't know is a local from the region? (Verifiable claims)
- How do we fix private-key management issues? What do we do when keys are lost, or stolen?
## Important infrastructure
Holochain will provide a set of "infrastructure DNAs" to help you build happs with identity-management in mind.
