## RustFest
* Followup on Barcelona funds
* They kept 1,5k for administrative purposes
* Pinged Ingrid about it today
* We have total leftovers of roughly 15k
* Transitioning infrastructure into an open/non-profit form managed largely through Open collective
* Flaki will talk about the currently developing/proposed plan
* Wasaabi as non-profit
* Infrastructure available
* Legal entity: Bay Area Tech Lab association (open budgeting)
* Originally planned to organize events
* Re-organize infrastructure after the conference
* Use something different than Google Drive for data security reasons
* Rust-Fest as non-profit vs. yearly running expenses / ticket pricing
* Integrate RustFest as project into Bay Area Tech Club
* Florian is planning to create a European, new Rust foundation
* Bitwarden password manager - Flaki will add Rafaela for access to RustFest-related passwords
* Figuring out (decision making) process and (transparent) governance for this new model before setting it up
* Have open, transparent financial balance so sponsors etc. can see what it is being spent for
* Ask for steady corporate sponsors, not only for events
* New budget proposal leaving out yearly running costs
