## Talking points
### Call for Proposals
* [Draft](https://hackmd.io/tPjq5mOyTIu2Qskxmo1WBw)
* Let's start inviting CfP commitee members after this meeting
* Let people submit in their own language
* But: for Oxidize no one made use of that, how could we do more reach-out?
* Pre-recorded talk needed for that option
* Idea: Better chances of being accepted if you submit in your native languagae
### Format
* Find ways to make it more interactive
* Have themed rooms
* Beginner-friendly
* Off-topic
* ...
* Have virtual communication preference badges
### Sponsorship tiers
* Budget: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lDjraU4f32DWH4x_3PZMB02YivNRrrU_MHzDp5GvDsg/edit?usp=sharing
* Proposal:
* https://hackmd.io/lzW6SSVIRzudIDLwRWvhTg?view
* Feedback welcome
* Flaki
* Too early because we don't have a clear idea of the whole format
* Focus on a single tier for something like about 1.000 EUR that includes some perks we are reasonably easily able to provide
* If they want extra perks such as perma-logo on stream or stream page and similar "high-visibility" perks they should let us know.
* Extra sponsorship amount that directly goes into diversity pool
* Have a baseline tier, and customize them for sponsors according to their preferences
* Allows us to start reaching out already
* Ask "What do you want out of an conference?""
* Could also give us new ideas
* Alows companies to "not think about it" and still place their logo
* Individual Matrix chat for specific sponsor
* Rules all sponsors must follow
* We don't:
* sell email addresses
* sell physical addresses for shipping stuff
* Do:
* Place logos
* Setup matrix chat rooms
* Announcements during the event
* Wouter and Rafaela will start a draft for an e-mail to sponsors
### Ideas
* Flaki:
* 24h conference collaboration in 3 different timezones (6 talks + 4h each block - Rust Tokyo, Latam, Europe) to make it more global and to reach other communities via other teams
* ++ Diversity
* Reduce individual workload
* Have actual breaks and no programme instead of artists
* Allow people to host workshops, give infrastructure
* Don't push workshop explicitly as part of conf
* Are sponsors asking for that?
* **Ask Tokyo and Latam people if they are interested ASAP!**
* Flaki will post write-up of the idea
* Stefan:
* Play mini games on the info beamer
