# Miners of Mars Bonus Proposal
Providing bonuses to crews is part of the WP and one of the main reason for crew building. Goals of this proposal are:
* Define a bonus system for crews
* Reuse existing hazard logic
* Promote crew building by providing bonus combinations
* Drive volume for miners
# Assumptions
* We can query all the traits of the miners in a crew
* Hazards do this so thinking its true
* The difficulty with bonuses is in the application of the bonus not the querying of traits.
* A bonus could be applied to an NFT exactly like a hazard
# Logic
* We query the crew for all the traits and look for combos. (same as hazards)
* If we see a combo we apply a bonus that sticks with the NFT and applies a bonus to efficiency just like a hazard negates it. (Very similar to hazard)
* Bonuses are listed in the manager just like hazard "Fix" button (same as hazard but not fixable)
* The logic is run once a day. If the NFT has a bonus and no longer passes the bonus logic, the bonus is removed (new functionality)
