Potential design for an active mobility program for architecture students interested in urban planning and visiting Paris to learn about the city's leadership in promoting sustainable transportation:
## Day 1: Arrival in Paris, Orientation, and Bike Rental
Arrival at the airport, followed by a brief orientation session with the program organizers.
Participants will be provided with bicycles (or they can rent them) and safety equipment (helmets, locks, etc.).
The group will go on a short bike ride around the city to get a feel for cycling in Paris and to visit some of the main landmarks.
## Day 2: Urban Planning and Active Mobility in Paris
Visit to the City Hall of Paris to learn about the city's urban planning and transportation policies, with a focus on active mobility.
Bike tour of the city to explore some of the best examples of cycling infrastructure in Paris, including bike lanes, shared streets, and bike parking facilities.
Visit to the Vélib' headquarters to learn about the bike-sharing system and its impact on the city's transportation network.
## Day 3: Sustainable Transportation and Public Policy in Paris
Visit to the Île-de-France Mobilités office to learn about the region's transportation policies and initiatives, including the development of low-emission zones and public transit improvements.
Bike tour of the city to explore some of the neighborhoods that have been transformed by sustainable transportation initiatives, such as pedestrianization, bike lanes, and car-free zones.
Visit to Respire, an organization that works to improve air quality in Paris and the surrounding region, to learn about the connections between sustainable transportation and public health.
## Day 4: Cultural and Historical Perspectives on Active Mobility in Paris
