My name is Ania Shestakova and I am a technical creator and DevRel in the web3 space.
With background in arts and academia/education, design and innovation.
Since 2020 I’ve been an active contributor to the ETH ecosystem. Building at ETHGlobal hackathons for 6 months straight, learning dApp development, and adapting myself and my skillset to the industry standards by designing products, such as wallets, NFTs, and DAOs.
I went from passionate hacker, creative and designer exploring the stack and ecosystem to Developer Relations, and in 2022 launched framework for devs to build easier and better dApps.
In 2024 I finished Developer Relations Uni devreluni.com.
Joined SheFi community, and started writing more.
I'm passionate about product and infrastructure.
I joined Textile.io as a Team Lead and DevRel in September 2021. It was an incredible opportunity to be a part of a small but mighty team of 6, and to contribute to the company's growth and success.
During my time at Textile.io, I wore many hats and took on a range of responsibilities, from driving developer onboarding to leading the launch of the new framework Tableland.xyz at ETHDenver. It was an incredible experience to see the project come to life and to be a part of such an innovative team.
One of my major contributions to Textile.io was designing and executing a 6-month marketing and content plan for Tableland.xyz that had a significant impact on the company's growth. Resulting in a dramatic increase in adoption and a 12x growth in social media following—from 1.5k to 17k.
The community expanded rapidly, transforming from a small group of partners and stakeholders on Slack to a vibrant network of Tableland builders across Git, Discord, Twitter, and YouTube. It was incredible to see the community flourish and to know that I played a key role in its success.
But I didn't stop there. I was also instrumental in shaping the visual identity and conducting research around developer experience (DX), curating bounty programs, hackathon budgets, and speaker opportunities. In addition, I facilitated cross-organizational collaboration among developers within the Protocol Labs ecosystem.
My work at Textile.io was an incredible opportunity to leverage my diverse skillset—from creativity, design and marketing, to research and facilitation—and to make a real impact on the growing web3 ecosystem.
My marketing and DevRel strategy was multifaceted, encompassing a range of activities to promote the company’s state of innovation and engage with the web3 builders:

One of my key responsibilities in the launch of Tableland.xyz was to collaborate with DeepWork.Studio to ensure alignment between the technical and creative aspects of the project development. Leveraging my product designer background, I worked to facilitate a seamless integration of these elements, helping the technical team realize their vision and bring it to life in a visually stunning and user-friendly way.
My involvement in shaping Tableland.xyz was extensive, including everything from finalizing the MVP to drafting user journeys, and from overseeing user validation to conducting user testing. Throughout the process, I worked to ensure that the platform met the highest standards of design and functionality, offering a seamless and engaging experience for users.

It was incredibly rewarding to see Tableland.xyz come to life and launch successfully, and I'm proud to have played a role in its development. The platform is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact that can be made when creative and technical teams work together towards a shared vision.

Tableland.xyz Tweets:
The community engagement project was a marketing initiative aimed at increasing engagement and awareness of a bidbot designed for staking on the Filecoin network (#FIL). The goal of the project was to drive adoption of the bidbot and to foster a sense of community among its users.
To achieve this, Textile.io launched a competition that incentivized users to engage with the bidbot and increase their usage. This competition had its own dedicated community and cohort on Discord, where users could connect with each other, share tips and strategies, and engage in friendly competition.
Additionally, I had the opportunity to represent Textile.io in the FIL+ Governance program.
FIL+ Governance program opened my eyes to the process of mining, and technical development behind issues like cross-org Governance. I’m still very passionate on bridging the gap between on-chain and off-chain Governance.
Fun fact: UniSwap Governance Forum changed it’s color scheme after my suggestion.
After contributing to the development of branding and landing pages for Tableland with the Textile.io team, I hopped onto DeepWork Studio as a Creative Director and Awareness Ambassador. This opportunity allowed me to delve into the world of org design and consultancy, representing the organization across various platforms such as Twitter and Substack.
I was also heavily involved in all aspects of DAO design, research, and governance, providing valuable insights and expertise to the consultancy. My contributions were further showcased in the DeepWork Studio Newsletter, where I delved into the current state of the organization, effectively communicating these complex ideas to clients in an accessible and engaging way
In addition to my consultancy work, I had the opportunity to curate an online exhibition as part of DeepWork Studio Experiences, further showcasing my creativity and ability to create engaging digital experiences.
These experiences allowed me to grow professionally and expand my skillset in the web3 space, positioning me as a valuable contributor to the growing decentralized ecosystem.
