Starting wages: BRL 600/month Yano's apprenticeship involves learning programming through a hands-on approach that emphasizes building multiple projects to solidify his knowledge. The program will feature regular reviews of Yano's progress every three months, during which we will assess his development and evaluate whether he wants to continue the apprenticeship. If Yano decides to continue, his wages will increase by 200 BRL. This process will continue until Yano 'graduates' and begins working on real projects with me, at which point he will earn 3k/month with periodical increases based on workload. To participate in the apprenticeship, Yano will need to meet certain conditions, such as: - Installing a dual-boot/Linux system. - Delivering projects on time. If Yano is unable to complete a project on time, he must provide evidence that he has worked on it for at least 7 hours per day, 5 days a week. - Using ChatGPT for assistance. - Asking for help frequently between 18-22 [London time]. Knowing how to ask for help is a valuable skill, he will be encouraged to get the practice in. - The amount of time allotted for pair programming will vary according to the project and Yano's needs. - After the first three months, Yano will be expected to communicate in English once he is familiar with the development language. - Documenting his journey, for his benefit.
