We are currently living in an age of woke capitalism with loads of socialism mixed in, and companies are not just selling you products, they're also selling you ideology. It comes nicely wrapped in virtuous messaging about how much they care when it comes to social issues and causes around the world, well that is as long as that messaging doesn't hurt their profit margins. Kind of like when someone associated with a company offends China, by saying "Fight for Freedom. Stand with Hong Kong." then those the virtuous go right out the window. We live in an age of the internet, and if there is one thing the internet can't ever do, and that is forget. So no matter what you have done it will eventually come back to haunt you, especially when we live in a world of outrage culture. Gone are the days where people are fighting for worthwhile issues like equal rights or freedoms, these days it's just about being unset that someone did something or said something, and if there is nothing current, well then they will find something from long ago to moan about. ## U.S. Bank Is Hiring For Blockchain Positions
The second-largest U.S. bank, Bank of America has started posting jobs for people in the blockchain industry, and this could mean more companies will begin following suit. A recently closed ad on LinkedIn also suggests the bank has plans to use Rippleās distributed ledger-based payments network in some form. The bank also has about 78 blockchain-related patents that it has filed over or won to date. Could we start seeing a bigger adoption of crypto by the masses in the near future, let hope so.
