# Tadao project design estimates

In this document, an estimate is made of the design work and budget in the two scenario's (MVP - Full Option), seen from the design perspective.

## Scen A: MVP

### Description:
In this scenario, an external artist makes 3D-models of homebase and rooms, also minimal animations. We use these and integrate them as static png/gifs on the site.

### Tasks & estimate :
- Briefing and AD on 3D's — **Bennisan, 16 hrs**
- Creating 3Ds — **Viscous Realm, $800/graphic**
- Exploring UI in first draft (incl. review w Masego + 1 iteration round) — **Bennisan, 24 hrs**
- High res wireframes (incl. review w Masego + 1 iteration round) — **Bennisan, 40hrs**

Total:
- Bennisan: 80hrs @ $125/hr = $10k
- External 3D guy: 5 Graphics @ 800/per = $4k

## Scen B: Full Option
### Description:
In close collaboration with the 3D-artist, we create the full 3D experience, where the user can **actually move around** in e.g. homebase or a specific room. In this experience the user can find a lot of things to interact with, some of them ofc functional, but some also purely for experience-sake (cfr. music-player in the record-sign w extentable, a statue that starts singing, ...). Together with the 3D-artist, we could explore the customisation of the rooms per user e.g. different lighting, colours, ...

### Tasks & estimate :
- Briefing/brainstorm & Kick-off w 3D-artist — **Bennisan, 40 hrs**
- Close collaboration/AD on 3D's — **Bennisan, 40hrs**
- Creating 3Ds — **Viscous Realm, $800/graphic**
- Exploring UI in first draft (incl. review w Masego + 1 iteration round) — **Bennisan, 24 hrs**
- Applying UI elements to all different situations — **Bennisan, 40hrs**

Total:
- Bennisan: 144hrs @ $125/hr = $18k
- External 3D guy: 5 Graphics @ 800/per = $4k
