# EMOFTIES thoughts/braindump
I like the fact of sharing emotions a lot. **Web3-technology gives us the power to hold these very intimate and delicate expressions in our own hands, instead of publishing it to some corporate server.** We decide who we want to share them with. This new level of safety is a beautiful usecase for web3, for not doing social media on corporate servers.
## Iteration on the concept
**Instead of working w AI-generated art or modified PFP's, we let the user create an abstract visual to express his emotion in the app.**
In the app, the user sees a set of basic emotions, and a lever/input for each emotion. By adjusting these levers or inputting a certain %, a user expresses how he feels. The app generates an abstract image based on these numbers, using a sphere for every emotion included by the user: the colour of the sphere is determined by which emotion it represents, and the size of the sphere represents its percentage in the total mix.
- yellow = joy
- orange = fear
- red = anger
- dark brown/greenish = disgust
- purple = sad
- light blue = hopeful
- pink = love
This will make the whole experience more visual, where one can how one users (or more users) feel.
Some examples of what that would look like:
