## Definitions
* **Spaces** are like rooms within a home. Each room (space) speaks to a specific mental model and/or activity. These models/activities will be explained below when referencing each space.
## Structure
3.Finance's structure constitutes the following spaces:
### The Landing Page
The landing page is a sequence of the screens all users will arrive at when they enter '3.Finance' into a browers. Here users have the opportunity to learn various details about the project. More about the landing page (Components, Behaviours & Transitions) will be explained in the document titled: '12. The Landing Page'.
> **Amendment** Dec' 2nd, 2022
> I have reduced the landing page to a single screen with:
> * A '**Connect Wallet**' button. This takes users to the Web3 wallet connect screen, then access the app in the '**Connected state**'
> * A '**Learn More**' button. This takes users to the app in the '**Walkthrough state**', allowing them the opportunity to see what the app has to offer in a view that also gives us the opportunity to explain what each space is about.
> * A '**Buy Assets**' button. This takes users to the 3.Finance NFT Micro-Site where they will be able to buy 3Fi NFT's once having connected a wallet. (Sample URL: 3.Finance/micro-sites/3fi-nft) **Note**. This link is not expected to be active for MVP, which is why I have also requested a 'Coming Soon' prompt on roll over.
### The App
The 3.Finance App is a web app and has two states:
1. **A walkthrough state.**
This state occurs when users navigate to the app without having connected a wallet.
Users may explore the app in this state to learn more about the app, its features and functionality. (This is essentially a read only state)
2. **A connected state.**
This state occurse when users navigate to the app having connected a wallet.
Users may explore and use the features and functionality of the app.
Users will gain access to more advanced features and functionality based upon the positions they have attained within the app.
More about these advanced features and functionality and access to them will be highlighted in the below listed spaces.
3. **App Spaces.**
The 3.Finance App will itself contain 4 spaces. These spaces are:
* The Dashboard - for more, see the overview below & document titled: '**07. The Dashboard**'
* Deposits - for more, see the overview below & document titled: '**08. Deposits**'
* Emissions - for more, see the overview below & document titled: '**09. Emissions**'
* Money Apps - for more, see the overview below & document titled: '**10. Money Apps**'
### The Dashboard
The purpose of the dashboard is to provide a holistic view of ones portfolio and the tools they have connected to facilitate portfolio growth.
By tools, I refer to widgets. Widgets are added to the dashboard via the '**Money App**' space which is described below.
Each widget provides access to a micro-site dedicated and specific to the content of each widget. More about the dashboard will be explained in the document titled: '**07. The Dashboard**'.
### Deposits
Deposits is the second space within the 3.Finance app.
The purpose of deposits is to provide a holistic view of all working positions within the connected wallet.
Deposits provide users with access to each opportunity (pool) connected to or compatible with 3.Finance. More about deposits will be explained in the document titled: '**[08 Deposits](https://hackmd.io/@3Fi-4-DeFi/3Fi-Deposits)**'.
### Emissions
Emissions is the third space within the 3.Finance app.
The purpose of emissions is to provide a holistic and itemised view of each token (reward) a user (connected wallet) receive based upon their 'working' deposits.
Emissions also provide users the opportunity to signal how they wish the protocol and/or other users to treat their emissions with respect to internal protocol functions such as compounding. Emissions also provide visibility of all emissions (tokens) a user (connected wallet) is not receiving, surfacing the opportunity to reveal details of how to begin receiving each. More about emissions will be explained in the document titled: '**09 Emissions**'.
### Money Apps
Money Apps is the forth and final space within the 3.Finance app.
The purpose of money apps is to provide all users the opportunity to explore connected money apps (protocols) and what each has to offer. Further to this, money apps provde **'Advanced'** users the opportunity to add connected money apps (protocols) to their dashboard. Adding a money app will load the associated widget to that users dashboard so they may access and utilise its functionality. Each widget added to a dashboard also provides access to an associated micro site. More about money apps will be explained in the document titled: '**10 Money Apps**'. More about micro sites will be explained in the document titled: "**11. Micro Sites**".
## MVP (v1.0)
The 3.Finance MVP is expected to meet the following expectations:
* A completed Landing Page as described in document '12'.
* A web-app containing all 4 of the aforementioned internal spaces. Of which:
* A Dashboard containing the TVL and NFT widgets as described in document '07'. No micro-sites are expected.
* A completed Deposits space as described in document '08'.
* A completed Emissions space as described in document '09'.
* A holding screen for the Money Apps space as described in document '10'.
## Fast Follows (v2.0 onwards)
Details will be added here in a future update of this document.
