## Purpose & Function

**Primary purpose** of the **Emissions** space is to provide a clean, holistic envorinment to monitor tokens received from working asset participation (deposits).
Let's elaborate:
* Assets are groupped into the following categories:
* **3Fi Collateral Wallets**
* These assets are accrued when owned NFTs are harvested.
* The purpose of this segregation is to differentiate between compound activities and cash-flow activities.
* Assets received in this group fall under cash-flow activities and have onward use cases that are separate and distinct from compound activities.
* **Compound emissions**
* These assets are those targeted by the asset stack.
* These assets may not be claimed: transferred to a connected wallet. (To do this, users need to withdraw balances from the '**Deposits**' space)
* On harvest, these assets are added to the deposit balances of the associated pool within the '**Deposits**' space. (This drives basic compound activity)
* **Liquid emissions**
* These assets are not targeted by the select asset stack and so;
* When harvested, these emissions are sold for a compound emission (defined by the users first or last harvest (ie. signal), before being deposited into the associated compound deposit pool. (This drives compound boost activity)
* These emissions may be claimed: transferred to a connected wallet.
* There are several sub-groups within '**Liquid Emissions**', these are:
* '**Liquid Emissions**', which catalogues all emissions received by the protocol and is only visible when a user has no deposits and is not recieving any emissions.
* '**My Liquid Emissions**', which catalogues all emissions the connected wallet is receiving and becomes visible when a user has deposits and is recieving liquid emissions. The liquid emissions the user receives are listed in this group.
* '**Other liquid opportunities**', captures all other emissions found in the original group '**Liquid emissions**' and that the user is not currently recieving. When a user begins recieving an emission found in this group, that emission will migrate from this group to the '**My liquid emissions**' group.
> **Note**:
> The purpose of making emissions not recieved visible is to surface the opportunity to learn what else can be received and how. This further speaks to the secondary purpose of this space.
**Secondary purpose** of the **Emissions** space is to surface opportunities with respect to the targeted compound emissions.
The goal is to assist users in identifying liquid emissions that are outperforming those compound emissions. While they outperform, users have the opportunity to reposition deposits to maximise this strength; that in turn translates into greater compound boosts from a token '**count**' perspective.
More on the above is described in '**Details**' below:
## Details
> "Deep dive into the character of this emission. What makes up the avearage APR displayed in the emission’s card & how can this average be improved?"

Left to right:
* Sample: Compound Group / Curve Emissions selected.
* Sample: Liquid Group / Non-defined card.
**Emission Details: Card Breakdown**
Top down:
* Beginning immediately below the help text; a (horizontal) list of deposit pools is visible. These deposit pools are paginated, showing up to five (5) at a time.
* A user may page through the deposit pools by selecting the previous or next cheverons found above and to the right of the emissions list.
* Directly below each deposit pool is a percentage (%), this representis the proportion of that deposit pools total emitted value in the form of the selected emission.
* Ie. Deposit Pool A = 40%, indicates that 40% of the value emitted by this deposit pool is done so in the form of the selected emission. (If the Curve emission is selected, this would be: CRV)
* Below the deposit pool list is a table of data.
* The purpose of this table is to display the '**PoP**' or '**Percentage of Pool**' value for the selected emission; emitted by the selected deposit pool.
* Reminder:
* A user selects an emission card to access the details panel. This defines the 'selected emission'.
* A user selects a deposit pool from the available list. This defines the relevant pool data to display.
* The data displayed in the table will update each time a different deposit pool from the displayed list is selected.
* For MVP; the '**PoP**' value will be simply a measure of the emission APR vs. the deposit pools total APR. *(This calculation will be amended in future updates)*
> **NOTE - The Emissions Details drawer is NOT the same as the Deposit Details drawer.**

## Deposit Actions
### Liquid & Compound Actions

(Above) Walkthrough and Connected views of a selected liquid card with action drawer revealed.

(Above) Walkthrough and Connected views of a selected compound card with action drawer revealed.
> Liquid and Compound action drawers share the same action activities.
> These action activities are:
> 1. Harvest
> 2. Claim
> **Action Drawer Rules:**
> When a liquid or compound card is selected:
> >If the connected wallet is not receiving the emission, the default secondary tab to be pre-selected shall be: **Details**.
> >If the connected wallet is recieving the emission, the default secondary tab to be pre-selected shall be: **Actions**.
> >>When the action drawer is active, the default tirtiary tab to be pre-selected shall be: **Harvest**.
#### 1. HARVEST
> **Harvesting liquid emissions copy:**
> "On harvest, liquid emissions are swapped for compound emissions as per the set signal, before being deposited into their respective CDPs, each visible on the Deposits screens."
> **Harvesting compound emissions copy:**
> "On harvest, compound emissions are deposited into their respective CDPs, each visible on the Deposits screens."

From left to right:
* Compound emissions:
* **Curve** - Connected wallet has received curve emissions but does not hold any 3Fi tokens. This restricts harvesting Curve emissions to the Curve CDP only.
* **Curve** - Connected wallet has received curve emissions and holds 3Fi tokens. This activates the option to direct Curve emissions to the connected wallets '**CRV - 3Fi Collateral Wallet**' or the Curve CDP.
* **Convex** - Connected wallet has received convex emissions. As this is a compound emission, the only option available is to deposit the approved convex emissions into the Convex CDP.
* **Bent** - Connected wallet has received bent emissions. As this is a compound emission, the only option available is to deposit the approved bent emissions into the Bent CDP.
* Liquid emissions:
* **Define Signal** - Connected wallet has received a liquid emission and has the option to select a compound emission to boost.
* For details on signalling see: https://hackmd.io/@3Fi-4-DeFi/3Fi-Liquid-Tokens
> **Notes:**
> With respect to liquid emissions.
>> If the connected wallet holds 3Fi tokens, the option to '**fund**' the '**Signalled**' 3Fi Collateral Wallet will also be available to the user. Selecting this option will convert the liquid token to which ever asset is associated with the '**active**' collateral wallet as defined by the users '**NFT Harvest**' preferences and then credited to that collateral wallet.
#### 2. CLAIM
> **Claiming liquid emissions copy:**
> "On claim, liquid emissions will be transferred to the connected wallet. This action will reduce the speed at which your porfolio can compound."
> **Claiming compound emissions copy:**
> "Compound emissions are not claimable. If you wish to retrieve compound assets, they must be withdrawn via the Deposits screens."

From left to right:
* **No recieving** - With the exception of the '**help text**', this drawer is common to both compound and liquid emissions. If at any time the emission is not being received, the messages shown here will be displayed.
* **Compound Prompts:** (3)
* **Curve** - Can not be claimed, only harvested.
* **Convex** - Can not be claimed, only harvested.
* **Bent** - Can not be claimed, only harvested.
* **Liquid Prompt:**
* On claim, liquid token is transferred to the connected wallet. For more details, see: https://hackmd.io/@3Fi-4-DeFi/3Fi-Liquid-Tokens.
### Collateral Actions
> **Note:**
> These actions require a UX review and may require rework.
> The purpose of these actions are:
> 1. As a secondary means of accessing which collateral wallet is set and signalled.
> 2. To claim collateral from a collateral wallet.
> 3. To distribute collateral to assigned '**Money Apps**'.
> As '**Money Apps**' are not due for MVP release, the designs currently available were of lower priority and therefore are likely to need refinement before going to development.
> Please communicate with the Design team ahead of when Development of these drawers are to begin to allow for this refinement to take place. Thanks you in advance.
