# Group check in (20 min)
- Why do we make you do group presentations?
- The actual 'presenting' is only a tiny proportion of the work
- Harness your strengths and diversity
---
## Check in:
- What do you love about presentations?
- What do you hate?
- How do you want to tackle this as a group?

---
# Code review (20 min)
Everyone is at a different point in their project coding, and that is ok.
Today we are going to spend 20 min walking someone else through where we are up to.

---
# Debate topic: *open data should be mandatory*
---
### You have 30 minutes to ...
- work in your project groups to formulate as many compelling arguments as you can for the affirmative and the negative (ideas sourced from what you read in prep for today)

# Fishbowl debate
- Get into [debate groups](https://unsw-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/g/personal/z4513203_ad_unsw_edu_au/EdqO845LHThNiGXpsgM5PS0BOGY5wRK9K8N-ahgNGvGcCA?e=pOKofk)
- Roles:
- 2 & 4 - affirmative (open data SHOULD be mandatory)
- 3 & 5 - negative (open data should NOT be mandatory)
- 1 (&6) - moderator (ask follow-up questions, take notes, which side was most convincing and why?)
---
# Debrief
- Compelling reasons for data sharing?
- Compelling reasons AGAINST data sharing?
- How could these be overcome?
- Things you hadn't considered before?
