# My backwards idea Data ownership/mining = privatization = money = cloud interests My idea's name: **[Talebox](https://github.com/talebox)** (although honestly **Decloud** is not such a bad name either) So much software starts with a simple&powerful offering, then gets clogged as a private complex monster (even tho their main offering remains *open-source* [De-Comodization](https://https://www.levien.com/free/decommoditizing.html)). I wasn't around for a lot of history but correct me if I'm wrong: [Microsoft](https://https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft#1972%E2%80%931985:_Founding) may be the best example. Don't think I'm sitting here at 02:42 9/15/2022 the night before the last day of the open source summit in Dublin writing this because I have any other interests other than exactly what I'm typing. **I NEED this as much as you do.** ## This is a letter of invitation to my company :) If you're reading this: **I want (to be able) to to pay your salary**.
