What about the tradeoff between adopting a new technology and doing things like reducing bundle size? Should we try to use vanilla JS whenever possible? ## Answer Good question. I think vanilla JS is a lost art where there are a billion and one frameworks. I'd say look at the use case. If you're building a personal site that isn't much more than mostly static data, then React, for example, would be overkill. Just use HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
