• can become mayor
• can have sheriffs on payroll
• can own houses (would it be possible to make all buildings enterable?)
• if you have too high a bounty elsewhere or kill too many people in the town, federal agents start to hang around & sheriff or mayor asks to speak with you privately and gives the 'you're making yourself too pronounced' line from The 'Killers of The Flower Moon' movie
• some big crime results in an arrest (if caught / killed by police) or a permanent wanted status (if not caught) until you turn yourself in & get a trial date in Blackwater
• once imprisoned you can escape or bribe guards to get a nice cell
• once imprisoned you partially play as player characters second in command
• as second in command you can rig the trial by killing witnesses and bribing / threatening / killing jury
• in the court case you can try to appease remaining / unbribed jury
• ends with death / or escape to mexico and new player character is second in command
