## About you
**○ Please tell me about yourself**
I have been working in software engineering for the last two years since graduation from Al Azhar University and I specialize in helping companies developing numerous projects in web development with Google For Startups, Tech for better, and Gaza Sky Geeks. And that’s what I’m passionate about. Previously, I worked as a teacher assistant in Software Engineering college at Al Azhar University, which was a great experience.
What I’m looking for is a company that I could add value to, that I could produce a positive return on investment for. Where I could join a strong team. Is this what … company is looking for?
**○ What do you consider to be your major strengths?**
My strengths include an ability to be supportive of other team members, focus on the task at hand, and be attentive to details. I totally believe in planning and execution. In fact, even when I was in college, I used to organize my week and many people have said that I am quite approachable because of my very outgoing nature.
**○ What do you consider to be your major weaknesses?**
- well, you know what, I am a very creative person. I tend to come up with all kinds of ideas and when I get these ideas, I am very excited and I wanna share that with everybody, all my managers, my coworkers, and I love just to share. What I realized over the years is sometimes these ideas are good and sometimes are not so good. So it's something that I know I need to work on how to filter those ideas. In fact, recently, I have been reading a few books to help me filter out some of those ideas, and that I'm working on all the time. And of course, I am always open to any coaching from you that can help me to channel my creativity into higher productions for the company.
- Well, I am too detail-oriented, I try to accomplish everything and I just want everything to be perfect, but then I realized that I am losing out on time, so maybe that makes submitting these project pretty late, so I have been read books about organizing the tasks on time and prioritize the tasks. And of course, I am always open to any coaching from you that can help me to be more productive.
**○ Why do you think we should hire you?**
Honestly, I almost feel like the job description was written with me in mind. I strongly believe that the experience I have in web technologies, as well as my teamwork skills, make me a perfect fit for the...' team. I have been working with many teams and developers since the beginning of my career on building the highest possible quality software products. At the same time, I've developed communication skills from working directly with the senior managers. I would bring a strong work ethic to the role I take my work seriously and achieve my work on time without sacrificing the quality and I hope to be able to bring this experience to ...
**○ How would your coworkers describe you?**
My coworkers would describe me as an organized, thoughtful person who has attention to all details. So much of what I enjoy is creating a well-organized environment and anticipating the needs of my coworkers to make office life run as smoothly as possible. My colleagues regularly comment on my positive attitude and problem-solving abilities when we get a difficult client.
**○ How would your last boss describe you?**
Actually, in one of the projects I worked on, my team lead described me as resourceful and someone who solves problems before I’m asked. In our project I got the solution to save the budget by using free technology which achieves our goals in the project.
**○ What do you think is the biggest misconception about yourself?**
**○ What do you consider to be the most enjoyable and rewarding aspects of the job?**
I think one of the most rewarding parts of my job is the problem-solving aspect of it. In my previous projects, I get assigned a task that wasn't very straightforward and it required me to come up with creative solutions to find an answer. For example, my boss asked me to use a library to develop a required use case, it was heavy so I thought it's better to code a script that helps us achieve the goal without using any libraries. Also, working in a team can be very rewarding.
**○ What do you consider to be the least enjoyable and rewarding aspects of the job?**
## **Your work experience**
**○ Please tell us about your work in [company X]?**
I enjoyed the people I worked with. It was a friendly and fun atmosphere, and I actually enjoyed starting work every day. I felt that the leadership team was great too. They knew all of their employees on a first-name basis and tried to make those personal connections.
**○ Can you tell us more about the [project X]?**
the previos answer and talk about techniques.
**○ What did you like most about your last job?**
In my last job, I was a member of a five-person team, and we worked together on a variety of large-scale projects where each of us was responsible for one part of the project. I really enjoyed the teamwork aspect of the job and liked seeing how all the pieces of our projects came together in the end.
**○ What was your favorite project you worked on?**
## **Your future**
**○ What are your short-term goals?**
Well, I wanna improve my startup for disabled people to connect them with the whole world and providing them with more services. Also, I think I would like to be in a management position.
**○ Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?**
## **Behavioral questions - stories**
**○ What was the last piece of feedback you received at work?**
**○ What piece of feedback at work really stang you?**
**○ Can you give an example of where you had to deal with multiple tasks at the same time?**
While working in an internship program with a team of four interns, two of them decided not to continue with the internship. As a group, we had been asked to develop a website for a major client. Although the company was going to reduce the workload that had been allocated to the group, I spoke with the manager and the other intern and we agreed to take on all of what had been originally agreed for the four of us. I reviewed the work schedules and allocated new responsibilities. We managed to make a significant contribution to the client’s strategy and delivered all of our obligations as agreed. I was commended for taking on additional responsibilities efficiently and professionally.
**○ Tell me about a time you had to complete a task within a tight deadline. Describe the situation, and explain how you handled it.**
While I typically like to plan out my work in stages and complete it piece by piece, I can also achieve high-quality work results under tight deadlines. Once, at a former company, an employee left days before the imminent deadline of one of his projects. I was asked to assume responsibility for it, with only a few days to learn about and complete the project. I created a task force and delegated work, and we all completed the assignment with a day to spare. In fact, I believe I thrive when working under tight deadlines.
**○ Can you give an example of where you worked in a team and had a problem with one of the teammates?**
one time, when I was working on a team project, one of the team members got embroiled in an argument and refusing to complete her assignments. She was dissatisfied with her workloads, so I arranged a team meeting where we reallocated all the assignments among the team members. This made everyone happier and more productive, and our project was a success.
**○ Tell me about a time when you felt it was you against everyone else. You thought you were right and that everyone else was wrong. What did you do?**
While working on a project for the college, my partner opposed my idea in development. I suggested comparing the two different ideas by listing the pros and cons, then we found out the best and the project was developed in the best practice.
**○ What do you think was your biggest mistake?**
On my first project in college, my teacher told me that I was spending too much time on the details of a project. I realized that I could be such a perfectionist that I lose track of time and am often hyper-focus on things that just aren't that important. I learnt to prioritize the steps I need to take, and the required tasks when worked on a bigger project.
**○ If you could go back in time, what do you think you would do differently?**
**○ Can you tell me about a time where you failed? What happened and how did you recover?**
On my first project in college, my teacher told me that I was spending too much time on the details of a project. ## **Behavioral questions - other**
**○ Do you prefer to work independently or in a team?**
For most projects, I found that having multiple brains working toward the same final product was very beneficial. Also, I've always been a team player, ever since I was in grade school. I know that being cooperative, open-minded, and focused are important aspects of being a successful team member, and I pride myself on having those qualities.
