## <APEX LEGEND>EVENT Match Process and Norm

#### 1. Goal of Competition
To enhance the relationships between both servers by holding an exciting competition as the finale during the last two days of the event. As many Vtubers have started to play《APEX Legends》recently, this event also aim to attract more members in the server to play APEX, constructing a friendly gaming environment.

#### 2. Competition Article
“APEX LEGENDS” developed by RESPAWN studio and published by Electronic Arts Inc.

#### 3. Qualification
Players must meet all the following requirements:
- 13 years old and above, in compliance with ESRB rating of the game
- Not blacklisted by either server
- Joined the server before the announcement of match info to prevent the exploitation of boosters and smurfing.
#### 4. Registration
Please use Google Forms to register, and fill out the information below :
1. Team name.
2. Contact email.
3. Team captain's phone number.
4. Team captain's Discord ID
5. All team members’ Discord ID & Discord user ID (Number)
6. Upload all team members' account screenshots, for verifying the highest rank.
※Team name will only be accepted in English alphabets and Arabic numbers. If it contains sensitive wording, Chinese or other languages, the whole team will be disqualified, please correct it before the registration’s deadline.

Rank standards:
- Based on the highest rank reached by a player since the account is created.
- Each team can add up to a maximum of 18 points.
※Kindly use main account. This competition mainly focuses on friendly communication and entertainment. To maintain each player's game experience, please follow the rules. Anyone who violates the rules will be punished in the Discord server.

### 5. Schedule
- Start of registration: 2021/8/6 20:00(GMT+8)
- End of registration: 2021/8/11 23:59(GMT+8) or 20 full teams
- Event date & time:
- D3(8/20)- 23:00 (GMT+8) practice
- D4(8/21)-21:00 (GMT+8) Game 1&2 15 mins intermission between each game
-D5(8/22)-20:00 (GMT+8) Game 3,4&5 15 mins intermission between each game
- Any changes will be informed in the group

### 6. Structure and Rules
- 20 teams who pass the audition will begin the match at the same time
- Team limit : 20 teams, 10 each for red & white
- Team member limit : 3 players
- Match : 20 teams team match , 5 rounds in total ,total point series, match will run in two separate days
- Score rules: Refer to the table below
- The team with the most points in a total of five matches(red/white team) will be the winner in this event.

### 7.Settings
- Game Version: The latest version update of the game server.
- Gaming platforms：All platforms are officially available. If any problem such as players from the console platform could not join the game occurs, the competition shall be limited for PCs.
- Data Center：Japan Tokyo GCE1

### 8.Rules and Notifications
- Every participants is only allowed to join one team, joining multiple teams is forbidden. If the report or confirmation through admins is legitimate, the player/team will be disqualified without any further notification.
- Illegal teaming is prohibited, if one is found committing such an act, the player/team will be disqualified and will be severely punished within the Discord server.
- Member switching is prohibited. If a single player is absent during the competition, only the remaining teammates are allowed to join the competition.
- Team leaders have to show up in a dedicated channel in the Discord server 30 minutes before the competition starts, or else the team will not be able to take part in the competition.
- Upon checking in, participants will receive the Tournament Participant Code, enter the code into the tournament match screen to enter the waiting room.
- Participants are required to choose and get ready in their own team after entering the waiting room. It is prohibited to switch to another team’s slot as that may cause trouble to other teams.
- Please avoid spams, harassment, insults, or troubling the conversation of other teams or admins in the waiting room, else that you will be warned. Disqualification of players will be carried out after multiple warnings.
- Participants are required to double check their forms before the submission, the competition organiser shall not allow any changes of team members' documents after the submission.
- Participants may login and edit the document if there is an error, however editing the document will reset the submission time, which the competition holder will decide the teams’ registration order with.
- All participants are free to stream or turn on incognito mode.
- In the case where participants want to report any team that is violating the rules, please submit the corresponding evidence, otherwise the report will be ignored. The organisers are not responsible for collecting any evidence for the report submitted.

### 9.Disconnection、Game reset
- All participants will have to double check and make sure that their devices function normally, the competition won’t be paused or cancelled due to any participants' personal issues.
- If the competition encounters any adverse incidents (eg: official server unstable, unstable Internet connection in Taiwan, natural disaster etc.) which interrupts the competition, the competition will be postponed. Further details will be announced in the Discord server.
- If more than half of the teams are disconnected during a match, the match will be restarted.
- If the game coordinator crashes or shuts down unexpectedly that interrupts an ongoing match completely, the corresponding match will be restarted. Any previous kills and placement of that match will not be counted.
Disconnected player(s) should reconnect by themselves and continue the match.

### 10.Reporting, Cheating and Action Taken towards Violations
- All participants are strictly prohibited from using scripts or third party applications that may affect the fairness of the competition, if the report is legit after confirmation, player(s) will be permanently banned from the competition and an announcement will be made towards the community.
- Boosters are strictly prohibited
- Do not harass other team members in private.
- If any Participant(s) ought to report a team, please submit the corresponding evidence, eg:chat history screenshot, video, otherwise you will be ignored.
- If any Participant(s) wish to chat in the Discord channel, please pay attention to manners, do not be rude to the staff.

### 11.Other Notices
- Team leaders in charge of the whole team also hold the decision to change team members. Please choose the leader carefully.
- The organizer can change any rules on the premise to uphold the fair of the competition.
- This tournament has no collaboration or sponsorship with Electronic Arts Inc.
- This tournament is held in Taiwan
