Our core dev team all work for the largest technology companies in the world, so we decided its time to do something close to our hearts and have some fun along the way. DEGEN Games is not just any NFT project. Our Northstar is to push the technology boundary of decentralized blockchain and NFT by building projects that bring a fresh prespective. DEGEN Games allow the NFT holders to compete in a series of games over ten days and win significant prizes. The possibilities are endless in the DEGEN Games.

Each NFT will have a series of attributes that will get randomly generated during the mint. These attributes will play a significant part in helping champians win prizes in each tournoment.

This Whitepaper outlines 2 phases we plan to reach in building a fresh experience on Solana.

**Phase 1:** **Build the Community**
This is the most important Phase and can determine success or failure of the project from the get go. For any project to succeed, it needs a strong and supportive community which shares the same vision of the project.

**Phase 2**: **Build the Utilities**
NFT arts are just the abstraction UI layer on top of the intangible value of the project/community such as exclusive membership and cultural movement (BAYC), subjective artistic value (Beeple), utilities leveraging decentralized blockchain technology to provide value to holders, etc.

The intangible values aforementioned are what determine the floor price of such NFT project. DEGEN Games NFT focuses on providing the added value for our holders through Utilities.

**DEGEN Token**
DEGEN Token will be the a utility that will be introduced as the currency in the DEGEN Games. It can be used to revive a champian after going through multiple olympics and roll new attributes to help them win the games.

DEGEN Token is not only a utility token but also a governance token of the DEGEN Games, the more token you have, the more authority and influence you have for future roadmap and features of the game.

**DEGEN Committi NFT**
Each DEGEN Comitti NFT entitles the holders to passive income from the games. The holders of the DEGEN Comitti NFTs will be rewarded both DEGEN Tokens and will share in a portion of the sales incentivising and rewarding the holders.
