Meeting Minutes === ###### tags: `Templates` `Meeting` `AI` `Salting` :::info - **Location:** - **Date:** Jan 29, 2023, 9 AM Mountain - **Participants:** - Amy Roberts (AR) - - **Meeting Goal(s)** ::: ## Summary <!-- Please fill me in after the meeting --> ## Notes <!-- Other important details discussed during the meeting can be entered here. --> - physics-informed models help reduce dimensionality, which makes problems easier to solve - what physics constraints do we have? - a physics signal is an increase followed by a decrease - it's not true that we know what the slope of the increase or the slope of the decrease is! Also there can be discontinuities in the slope! - We think we know what the PDF is of the amplitude of the pulses - For dark matter, there should only be one interaction location in the detector - For dark matter, we expect the particle to interact anywhere in the detector with equal likelihood
