We are a dynamic and rapidly growing team building Open Dollar, the fully over-collateralized stablecoin on Arbitrum. We recently launched and have quickly reached $1m TVL. Our mission is to be a part of the pioneering effort that brings DeFi to everyday people by making it a safer and more accessible space.
Open Dollar is a new over-collateralized stablecoin protocol that is more flexible and built on top of Liquid Staking Derivatives. As more types of assets are tokenized, they become more powerful when we can borrow against them at stable rates, protecting users from inflation, market instability, and liquidity limits.
Open Dollar is backed by world-leading investors including several DAOs further cementing our commitment to decentralization and transparency. We are a US based team and operate within the legal and regulated framework of the law.
# Description
Looking for a proactive individual to drive content creation and marketing operations at our early-stage startup. You'll work closely with the Marketing Lead and CEO to execute marketing campaigns, manage content pipelines, and push user growth and retention forward.
You want to get practical experience on a team making waves in DeFi. You have a solid background in marketing and you want to learn a lot more, fast. You are tapped into all things crypto, understand the CT scene, and how business is done in the Web3 space. If you work well individually, have high attention to detail, and believe strongly in complete ownership, we want to talk to you.
# Responsibilities
- Craft compelling and engaging written content across various platforms including documentation, social media posts, blogs, and newsletters.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts, including but not limited to Collateralized Debt Positions (CDPs), Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs).
- Independently manage and plan the content calendar to align with key performance indicators (KPIs) and industry developments. Coordinate content creation with internal teams, partners, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders. Summarize and report back on weekly KPIs.
- Manage social media platforms and engage with the community to foster a vibrant and supportive ecosystem.
- Facilitate public engagement through AMAs (Ask Me Anything), Twitter Spaces, and other interactive formats.
- Collaborate with designers and multimedia specialists to plan, order, and oversee the creation of graphic, video, and animation content. Utilize tools like Figma for graphic edits and assist in video editing when necessary.
# Requirements
- Basic understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts and familiarity with industry-specific terminology such as CDPs, NFTs, L2s, and LSTs.
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion and CMS platforms.
- Experience in copywriting with examples showcasing your ability to craft engaging content.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms and engaging with online communities.
- Experience in coordinating content creation.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
