# Week 8 Update

This week has been a bit a disastrous. My macbook just stopped working and I lost all of my unpushed code :( .
I started my work on reth-gnosis as I got into Gnosis as a summer Intern so its not all bad :) .

I finished the reading and writing of ERA File and I have to redo them all but since I have implemented them , that won't be a problem.

I watched the office hours from Justin Drake talking about ~~beam~~ lean consensus and about snarkifing the L1.

## Work for the week
- Redo the code and get it reviewed by Cayman without losing the code
- Pick up some zig ssz issue to work on
- Will also read the [era blobsidecar pr](https://github.com/status-im/nimbus-eth2/pull/5882) since this might be done later in the timeline
