As pioneers in the decentralized space, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of DAOs by sponsoring DAOcember. ## About DAOcember DAOcember is a virtual schelling point for the people who think DAOs are the future of coordination. Bringing together 60+ DAO veterans representing 80+ organizations from across the ecosystem, for two weeks of talks, panels, demos & workshops, all focused on comprehensively covering the journey of creating & nurturing DAOs. ### Objectives - **Educate:** Help people understand the intricacies of DAOs. - **Design:** Provide insights into crafting effective DAO structures. - **Build:** Share knowledge on the technical aspects of building DAOs. - **Accelerate:** Help new DAOs get off the ground by learning from veterans. - **Grow:** Explore strategies for the sustainable growth of DAOs. - **Produce:** Transform all of the knowledge shared into a full DAO course. ## Event Details - **What:** ~2 weeks of talks, panels, demos, workshops, and more - all about DAOs. - **Who:** Anyone interested in learning about or building a DAO. - **When:** December 1st - 15th. - **Where:** Online in the MetaGame server. ## Why Sponsor DAOcember? DAOs are the future of coordination, but we're not there yet. Since The DAO in 2016, many DAOs failed unnecessarily while trying to reinvent the wheel. DAOcember is a platform for transferring knowledge from DAO veterans to DAO beginners & creating playbooks for the next generation of DAOists - written collaboratively with DAOists from across the DAO space. DAOcember's opening session was attended by 400+ people, listened to over 600 times while the DAOcember twitter account & telegram group grew to 300 followers & 300 members in 2 weeks. In terms of numbers, sponsoring DAOcember is like sponsoring a small to medium sized conference or hackathon, except for a fraction of the price. Unlike most events, DAOcember will have a tangible impact on the ecosystem through the production of playbooks - which will create additional value for sponsors through ongoing attention & utilization of the DAO course. ## Your Support Matters The success of DAOcember depends on you. By sponsoring, you not only support the event but also contribute to the growth and sustainability of the entire DAO ecosystem. Your sponsorship will go directly into building the future of our ecosystem, and introducing people to core & advanced concepts to help them build DAOs. ## Funding Distribution The funds raised will be allocated as follows: - **40%:** Acknowledging and compensating those who dedicate significant effort to organizing DAOcember. - **60%:** Investing in the production of a comprehensive DAO course, benefiting the entire DAO community. All funds will most likely be allocated by participants through Coordinape. ## Sponsorship Tiers & Perks The sponsorship tiers: - Bronze: $500 - Silver: $1000 - Gold: $3000 - Diamond: Custom amount over 3000$ Your project will be featured on: - The DAOcember website & DAO - "The Ultimate DAO Playbook" landing page - All the courses produced written & video content - The DAOcember twitter account - MetaGame's newsletter (12k subscribers) As you might notice, there are no separate perks for different tiers. You are expected to pick a tier commensurate with the stage of your DAO. If you cannot afford any of these packages, DAOcember is also open to accepting contributions in kind - meaning you can contribute equivalents of this value in labor. ## How to Sponsor We leave the decision of sponsorship amount to your discretion.
