## POKT Network - April 1-7 Weekly Report
#### Audit
My mission this was week to review all of POKT's public facing resources.
My audit produced valuable informtation around the inconsistency of our messaging, the TLDR:
- We often switch between POKT & Pocket, a brand title conclusion should be made, and someone should change it in all the places it's been reported
- Difficulty in establishing what $POKT is, where to buy it, and how to store it. There are outdated resources around it's availability on Ledger, and the wallets are not UX friendly, or well documented.
- Our documentation consistently switches between 2 tones, a highly technical, jargon filled, and text heavy tone. To a friendly and personal vibe. As a technical reader, the switches are jarring, as the technical writing requires a lot of focus. It's best to seperate the 2 tones with:
- technical for tech people
- personal for investors, community
- Documentation is too text heavy, even images are mainly text, it would benefit us to have more diagrams, charts, and data visualisations. Also, linking externally to explain technical details when possible is better than maintaining explanations.
- We do not reliably/visibly show off our adoption, and partnerships. As an example Infura reportedly uses our Gateways, but there is not showing of that on the site, or in the docs. To motivate further adoption we should more accurately depict our success.
- Our Blog while detailing what we've done, is not reliably reaching consumers, there are many reasons for this. Mainly that we are lacking in marketing, and user retention.
#### NewsLetter
- I have begun setting up a newsletter using Mailchimp. On the tech side it's done, I just need to activate it after templating emails, and automating emails when blogs are live.
- It could be beneficial to additionally copy all our blogs onto sites with internal traffic (medium, dev, mirror, substack) to expand our reach effectively
#### Sync and coordination with Dan
- I met with Dan, we did our introductions, and discussed issues identified in the docs, as well as created plans for maintaining communication, helping each out and establish a standard for reporting back to the Pokt team.

## POKT Network - April 7-14 Weekly Report
### Progress:

- Updated website with new section for Gateways
- Researched Analytics, SEO, and email automation tools
- Researched Frame possibilities
- Met with Adz to discuss issues identified in audit
### Potential pursuits this upcoming week:
#### New Page OR New Blog post (we can pin the post to the top):
The goal is to encourage and simplify the adopting POKT for retail investors, and to provide them with clear utility and expectations. The current UX around $POKT is confusing and convoluted.
The main support I need here is around deciding on whether we want this set up as a new page on the site, or just a blog post. Additionally any resources around this information besides the doc section would be appreciated.
- What is $POKT?
- What chain is it on
- What is it's utility
- Why does it exist
- How much $POKT is there?
- What is the Inflation rate?
- What is $wPOKT
- Where to buy it?
- CEX to buy $POKT
- DEX to buy $POKT
- How to earn it?
- What to do with it?
- Put it up in LP
- Stake wPOKT
- Where to store it
- Reach out to Ledger team to relist app
- Clarify wallet options
- Clarify LPs on EVM
- Establish token Roadmap
#### 2. Create POKT Network Frame, and identify process for OSS contributors to do the same.
Frames, and Farcaster have been gaining steam over the last few months, and it could benefit us to adopt the technology and establish clear processes to allow OSS contributors to build frames for POKT.
The goal is to reach new audiences and create strong relationships within the blockchain space, this pursuit will provide us visbility and allow us to shape our narrative as the DePIN RPC provider.
- What does the frame do?
- Information it communicates to the user
- Information is collects from the user
- End goal of the Frame experience
- What is the Frame development process?
- Who provides the ideas?
- How do we document the process?
- How do we market the Frame?
#### 3. Advanced Analytics with custom tags:
Currently we have cookie3 which allows us to collect info around how many users visit the site, how much time they spend on the site, and what pages they're on.
The issue is that I do not have access to the account and am unable to access that information. It is also limited in that it doesn't provide information as to what is being clicked, the countries of our visitors, ages/demographics, and frequency of visits.
- What Information helps us grow?
- Demographic info?
- Which buttons are popular?
- Recurring visitors?
- Weekly aggregate reports?
--------------
We can tackle 1 or 2 of these issues reliably within the next week, so prioritisation is important here.
