### Farming Opportunities

There are 3 types of farming opportunities at [ichi.farm](https://www.ichi.farm/#/farm):
1. xICHI (staked ICHI)
2. Active oneToken (stablecoin) Pools
3. Active ICHI Pools

Each active farm allows users to yield farm ICHI rewards with each new block.

There are 3 main actions on the Farm page. They must be done in order to farm:
1. Trade - acquire the assets you need to participate in the farm (typically with ETH)
2. Add Liquidity - Add the assets to the liquidity pool on either Sushiswap, Balancer or Uniswap
3. Deposit the LP tokens - Deposit the Uniswap/Sushiswap LP tokens to the farm

## [xICHI (Staked ICHI)](https://www.ichi.farm/#/farm?stake)


xICHI is minted when you stake ICHI.

xICHI holders can be rewarded by oneToken treasuries frequently or infrequently so an APY will only be available in hindsight.
oneToken treasuries pay 2% management fee and 20% performance reward directly to xICHI.
The best way to avoid missing a payment is to keep your ICHI staked in xICHI.

As a bonus, xICHI also makes your ICHI eligible for Ichipowah voting.
Proposals are submitted to the community via [Telegram](https://t.me/ichifarm) and voting is done on [Snapshot](https://snapshot.org/#/ichi.eth).

## Active oneToken (stablecoin) Pools
At [ichi.farm](https://www.ichi.farm/#/farm) you can provide liquidity for oneTokens and deposit your LP tokens into any oneToken Pool to earn $ICHI.

oneTokens keep their value at $1, are purely on-chain, and accrue a community treasury in each oneToken’s cryptocurrency.

Each oneToken can be redeemed for exactly 1 USDC while accruing a community governed treasury of the oneToken’s cryptocurrency. The cryptocurrency paid to mint isn’t paid back by the system. Instead, it remains in a community treasury.

oneTokens are the governance tokens of specific oneToken systems.
Each oneToken is a vote on treasury allocations, specific stablecoins parameters (like minting and redeeming fees), and on adoption programs.

With the passing of [Proposal: Approve ICHI Reimbursement for Transition to ‘Gas Saver’ Farm](https://snapshot.org/#/ichi.eth/proposal/QmSskXdgP1Eaz8jkfcRiAPqZksD5kdQi9DeQ7LKQUnsx1N)...
Current farms that aren't 'gas saver' have the ability to unstake and stake into the new ICHI ‘gas saver’ farm. 2X the gas cost (denominated in USD) will be refunded by the ICHI community treasury for making this transition.
This gas cost will be automatically reimbursed in ICHI to every wallet that migrates its LP by 5/5/2021 and remains fully deposited in the new ‘gas saver’ farm on 6/5/2021.
