# Production Log - Tales Of Pomme

## Overview
Tales of Pomme was the name of our group project. My role in this project was to research and gather ideas of the **environment**, **enemies** and create a **final idea for one of the companions** of the main character, Pomme.
### Environment
#### Date: 19/10/22
#### Hours: ~2 hours
#### Output:

- Since I was in charge of the environment and the look of the game, after gathering ideas from peers- we decided that it would be a **chibi-esque, RPG-type of game**.
- This **allows a range of different art styles** from our peers, whether it's too realistic or anime-like, it would fit the aesthetic of an RPG due to the variety of monsters that one contains.
- Inspiration was taken from the game: **Tome Of The Sun**.
### Enemies
#### Date: 5/11/22
#### Hours: ~1.5 hours
#### Output:

- We wanted to keep the game quite **child-friendly** while being an RPG, and so I wanted to have the monsters not too 'scary', like Boo from the Mario series for example.
- Different monsters with different types in each region.
### Companion
#### Date: 3/01/23 - 6/01/23
#### Hours: ~7.5 hours
#### Output:

- Still quite new to digital art, this took me a bit longer than expected.
- As a group were asked to to come up with a concept for one of Pomme's 'robots'.
- This is mine interpretation of one, being **vastly different to the typical 'robot', to give the game an even more 'cutesy' touch**.
- As expected from its looks, **Apple** is a very friendly, child-like; acts as Pomme's little best friend.
