# (Senior) Software Engineer: CLI - Remote: US (Central, Eastern) / EU - Internal only We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the GitHub CLI team immediately. `gh` bridges the gap between GitHub primitives and workflows (e.g. Pull Requests, Issues, Repositories, Codespaces) helping make developers more productive from the comfort of their terminal. Notably, `gh` acts as a companion for `git` (much like GitHub.com) -- _not_ a replacement for it. Some of our recent ships include (but are not limited to): new search capabilities across Issues, PRs & Repos with `gh search`, a new `gh status` experience highlighting relevant information at-a-glance & improvements to Extension creation & installation.
