# AI Student Verification Expansion Strategy
**Product:** Reclaim Protocol – AI Student Verification
**Author:** Rohit Goswami
**Objective:** Validate AI-powered student verification globally through autonomous student-driven testing.

---

# 1. Objective

Run a scalable campaign to test our **AI student verification**.

The goal is to stress-test the system across real-world conditions:

- university website variations
- different regions and languages
- varying internet speeds
- different verification flows

This campaign will generate a **diverse global dataset and reliability signal** before broader product rollout.

---

# 2. Lets redesign our wheel

Shifting my focus from growth-oriented only to product-centric. In the past few months, I've observed where improvements are needed. Certainly, these are going to automate our onboarding process for student testers too.

Product Level changes suggestions:
1. **Change the domain** - For stronger brand visibility, SEO optimization, and clearer positioning, the domain should directly reflect the core solution we provide.

The current domain **providerhunt.xyz** is not intuitive for students and does not clearly communicate what the product does. From a student’s perspective, the term provider hunt is ambiguous and does not immediately explain the value.

    * providerhunt.xyz is confusing
    * users don’t understand what it does - if we dont tell them
    * studentverification.ai immediately communicates the product
    *         providerhunt.xyz -----> studentverification.ai

    ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/SydfzVuKbg.png)

Including “AI” in the domain also reinforces the technology behind the product and aligns with how we want the product to be perceived.

2. **Sell the Problem We Solve Not Just the Product** : Currently, we present the product primarily as **student verification**.

However, students do not necessarily care about verification itself. What they care about is the **access and opportunities that verification unlocks**.

Instead of focusing on the verification process, we should focus on the **value it enables**.

Using an AI-powered universal student verification system allows students to prove their identity globally and unlock access to opportunities, tools, and benefits that might otherwise be restricted by geography, institution type, or technical barriers. we've working examples now - Perplexity and Spotify :)

In other words, the product is not just about verification, it is about **enabling global recognition for students and giving them access to the world’s best technologies and opportunities**.

This shift in messaging will help students understand why the product matters to them, not just what it does.

*"Prove your student identity globally and unlock access to technology, opportunities, and student benefits worldwide."* -- this could become our website new tagline, and our product narrative should become global student identity.

3. **Redesign our website** - Student Intuitive: For now I’m suggesting some key improvements and new features here. We can deep dive more into the product and design later.

The new landing page should clearly reflect what we are offering to students. Right now the value is not immediately visible. The homepage should explain why student verification matters and what benefits it unlocks for them globally.

We can also add a testimonial video compilation on the homepage (mentioned later in this doc). This will help build trust, especially since students from multiple universities have already tested our solution. Showing real students talking about their experience will make the product feel more credible.

The landing page should clearly communicate:
* what the product does
* why it matters for students
* what opportunities or benefits it unlocks

**Must-have: Student Volunteer / Lead / Ambassador Dashboard**

We should introduce a dedicated dashboard for student volunteers/leads/ambassadors. This will help automate and organize the testing process.

The dashboard should include:
* record of verification tests completed
* rewards earned for testing
* referral tracking (students invited by them)
* testing instructions and clear step-by-step flow
* alerts and notifications for new testing tasks
* reminders for pending test requests

From our side, the dashboard should also generate alerts for failed cases, so our team can quickly investigate and improve the verification flow.

This system will help us scale student onboarding globally while keeping the process organized and transparent.

# 3. Strategy Overview

Instead of relying primarily on paid ads, we will build a **university expansion loop** that drives organic growth.

Key components:

1. Campus testing network - leverage our ex-volunteer's network
2. Referral-based expansion
3. Use stuent communities - Discord, Reddit, Local campus groups.
4. Lightweight paid promotion

This reduces acquisition cost while increasing engagement.

# 4. AI Student Verification Lead Program

Participants in the Global AI Student Verification Test Network will be recognized as **AI Student Verification Leads**.

The goal is to recruit student contributors who help test and improve the reliability of AI-powered student verification across universities worldwide.

## Responsibilities

Student Verification Lead will:

- test student verification flows for their university
- test across multiple devices and network conditions
- identify verification edge cases
- provide structured feedback
- refer additional students to participate in testing

## Benefits

Lead receive:

- financial rewards for testing contributions: this should be dyanamic - based on number of parameters.
- referral rewards for onboarding new students - 10$/refer
- a **Student Verification Lead certificate**
- attractive perks - coupons, gift cards, merches

# 5. University Expansion Loop

Three Approaches we can explore - I’m proposing three plans instead of one so we’re not dependent on a single strategy, just to minimize a single point of failure.

**Plan 1**: Connect with College Students communities in various platforms like discord, reddit or any startup who is working closely with students. Need to work on the budget estimates for this plan, will decide after discussion with some communities leaderr/admins.

Some discord admins I've already DMed.
1. Learn AI Together - Pinged Louis from the admin team.
2. Science and Tech (56K members) - Pinged Hank (admin)
3. Engineering Launchpad - pinged admin

Cool to look for college groups: https://disboard.org/search?keyword=university&sort=-member_count

**Plan 2** : ***Leveraging our established student network*** to penetrate other universities. So far, this is the list of unis. they have mutual connects to.

**USA**
1. University of Michigan
2. University of California San Diego
3. UC Irvine

**England**
4. Oxford
5. Imperial college
6. University College London
7. Edinburgh College
8. Manchester University

**Hongkong**
9. Hongkong University
10. The Chinese University of Hong Kong
11. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
12. The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)
13. City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK)

**India**
14. GEC Goa
15. IEM Kolkata
16. KLE University
17. Don Bosco Goa
18. Manipal Jaipur
19. NMIMS Mumbai
20. Lovely Professional University

**Bangladesh**
21. AIUB
22. IUB
23. NSU
24. Butex
25. ULAB

**South Korea**
26. Hansung University
27. Kongju National University

**Taiwan**
28. National Central University
29. National Tsing Hua University
30. National Cheng Kung University

**Indonesia**
31. Universitas Dinamika
32. Universitas Widya Mandala
33. Diponegoro university

**Thailand**
34. Khon Khaen University

**Plan 3** : **Media campaign** - We can launch paid media campaign across various platforms. Lets fous on these 4 - Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, and maybe Reddit too? Didn't mention Linkedin and Twitter as students are not daily active here.

**Testimonial Videos from Interns** : I have already requested our previous interns to record a 15-30 seconds testimonial video - sharing about their experience in using our student verification solution. Most of them have already agreed and are working on it.

Why these videos? -- I'd say why not?

We spent a lot of time with these interns and they are quite aware of our tech and tested it a lot, they loved it actually.

We can compile these videos featuring interns talking about our product. This will enhance our global presence and will establish trust layer for other universities students. Can use this compilation in our paid campaigns.

We should run all the plan parallely.

## Budget Estimate for Advertisement

$500/Platform * 5 = $2500 - Monthly

| Platform | Pricing Model | Avg Cost | Estimated Reach from $500 | Expected Clicks |
| --------- | ------------- | --------------- | ------------------------- | --------------- |
| Instagram | CPM ~$7 | $500 ÷ 7 ×1000 | **~71,000 impressions** | ~640 clicks |
| TikTok | CPM ~$5 | $500 ÷ 5 ×1000 | **~100,000 impressions** | ~900 clicks |
| YouTube | CPV ~$0.05 | $500 ÷ 0.05 | **~10,000 views** | ~120 clicks |
| Snapchat | CPM ~$10 | $500 ÷ 10 ×1000 | **~50,000 impressions** | ~450 clicks |
| Reddit | CPC ~$1.5 | $500 ÷ 1.5 | **~330 clicks** | ~330 clicks |

For paid campaigns, we need to understand each platform’s user psychology before drafting ads. For example, on Instagram we should be able to capture the user’s attention within 2–3 seconds
