* This file is accessed through `access bregman-copy/cromwell` or `access lucasbregman//file`.
* It has the title "Lucas Bregman File" and consists of just an image.
* Click the `.md` collapsible to view the file's internals in its original Markdown.
  Hover over then click the clipboard to copy.
### `.md`?
Say you type `access BregMAN-Copy/Cromwell` in the [terminal](https://www.deepwellaccess.online/). The terminal will:
1. Lowercase your attempt to `bregman-copy/cromwell`.
2. Ask the website if `bregman-copy/cromwell` is a password.
3. Get back the `bregman-copy/cromwell`'s title and contents in Markdown. Markdown (`.md`) is text with extra formatting, like `**bold**` and `_italic_`.
4. Display the Markdown title and contents.

To create this page, I coded steps 2 and 3 to get back every password we knew of. (Just in case, we asked x3j50 for a list of passwords.)

### Edits
Next is Step 4. This page also displays Markdown, but it does not have the terminal's look and bugs. I've edited the text to better match the terminal or to fix its presentation on this site.

As a reminder, the unedited raw Markdown is in the `.md` collapsible. Those are still exactly as collected from the Deepwell server.

Invisible changes are not shown.
#### Images & Video
Youtube links embed in the terminal, so I've embedded them here too.

Image URLs are archived on the Wayback Machine. They may load slowly or not at all. Refresh the page if necessary.

Two images couldn't be archived this way: 13.png (Act 2, `2fc1`) and R-410A.png (Act 2, `howell/long//thatdamnac`). These were uploaded to [uploaditonline.com](https://web.archive.org/web/20251204115251/https://uploaditonline.com/) which went defunct sometime before March 7, 2026. R-410A.png is public domain, so its link was replaced. 13.png was uploaded to a website that didn't require an account and its link replaced.

Both images displayed as links in the terminal, so they've been edited to links.
#### Squished text / Extra spacing
The terminal has a visual glitch that spaces the `.md` text out too much. Starting at Intermission 2, the writers compensated for this glitch by removing line spaces in their `.md`.

Since _this_ page does not have that glitch, the content is unreadably bunched together. I spaced it back out to better match the terminal. As mentioned earlier, I did not modify the `.md` files.
:::spoiler These passwords have spaces added for readability and to better match the terminal.

## Inbox
Pay attention to the timestamps. The inbox from the ARG is ordered bottom-to-top.

Not all messages have been recorded! Some messages gave hints when we needed it then were deleted after.

Between Intermission 2 and Act 3, every message except the last one in Act 2 was deleted. TODO: Find exactly when.
### Inbox timestamps
All timestamps `[M/DD/YYYY, HH:MM:SS AM]` are in **EST**.

In the terminal, they look different depending on your location, language, etc.

If you're curious, run `new Date().toLocaleString()` in your F12 console to see how your timestamps look.
## Koh: `122` or `123`?
Is it `iwishthaticouldturnbacktime@122` or `iwishthaticouldturnbacktime@123`?

The original password ends in `123`. It came from ``Bm494BQRorFD56'F_kT1F`MA/@:O(pBl.EH0etN`` which decodes in Ascii85 to `iwishthaticouldturnbacktime@123`.

I'm calling using `122` _Goodman's typo_. Goodman (or Loreman) mistyped the password when recording it [here](https://discord.com/channels/1310057454028984320/1437973948750102598/1437975172014407801). Goodman's typo has spread to other guides. Northwood added it in case people get stuck.
## Unrecorded
The list of passwords we got from x3j50 showed we missed a few passwords. These are alternate passwords for content we've already found:
* `bregman-copy/cromwell` = **`lucasbregman//file`**
* `type green` = `ichabod` = **`t of mark 6`** = **`tof mark6`** = **`tofmark6`**
* Act 2, Another AC: `ftxs09lvju` = **`rxs09lvju`**
* Act 2, Koh's autopsy: `koh//autopsy-89e/iwishthaticouldturnbacktime@123` = **`koh//autopsy-89e/iwishthaticouldturnbacktime@122`**

This is a hidden behind-the-scenes into McFoy.txt:
* **`placeholderloose2`**

This also includes passwords with uppercase letters. As a reminder, step 1 forces any terminal attempts into lowercase. This allows case to not matter when testing passwords, but it also means these uppercase passwords cannot be accessed within the terminal.
* `2fc1` = **`2FC1`**
* `myyewtjwn` = **`MYYEWTJWN`**
* `0atpx092` = **`file//0ATPX092`**
* `koh//entry5/j50-px789-g` = **`thomasgraham/J50-PX789-G`**

Here. I've put it on your terminal. Password to the file should be "bregman-copy/cromwell"

Not so long ago, I used to be in your position. Maybe one day you'll rise the ranks as well, once I get promoted from junior supervisor. "Supervisor Simon Cromwell". Has a ring to it, doesn't it? Well, I can't hold a candle to Head Supervisor Langford, but that goes without saying.

After the Ichabod Campaign, the number of reality benders worldwide went down by 75%.

And the Foundation didn't do anything.

Before the Ichabod Campaign, the average life expectancy of a reality bender in the wild was 19 years old. Afterwards, it became 8 years old.

And the Foundation didn't do anything.

Countless material harvested from the remains of reality benders were given to the Foundation to be made into a core ingredient in the creation of Scranton Reality Anchors, a device used to often incapacitate reality benders today.

Genocide.

And the Foundation didn't do anything.

Nobody's paying attention to you.

**Langford:** Interesting find, Junior Supervisor. This might be what we’re looking for. “Another Candlemeyer”... Not the most pleasant phrase to read.

**Cromwell:** What *was* Candlemeyer, sir?

**Langford:** Only the largest termination wave the Foundation has ever seen. Nothing like it has happened since… 2012. This is definitely Lucas Bregman speaking on the tape. I recognise that contempt.

**Cromwell:** So this is it then? This is what we need to close the Bregman file? What do you need me to do, sir?

*(Langford leans back in his seat.)*

**Langford:** We’re going to be doing nothing.

**Cromwell:** What? Shouldn’t we-

**Langford:** This tape sounds like Bregman. But we have no proof that it is. If it *is* him, then he’s involved with non-Foundation personnel, which the O5 isn’t allowing, plotting an operation, which is outside his jurisdiction, and accepting a GOC termination request, which he cannot do. Do you get what I’m trying to say?

**Cromwell:** We’re… not going to do anything?

**Langford:** If we want to take down Lucas Bregman, we act now. However, if we want to take down ETTRA as a whole, we let this play out. We’ll be ready, Supervisor Cromwell. If ETTRA does do something, we’ll be there to catch them red-handed. And that will be one less grip the Global Occult Coalition has on this Foundation.

**Cromwell:** I… I see, sir. I understand. Is there no chance that we could possibly-
*(Langford raises his hand towards Cromwell)*

**Langford:** You may dismiss yourself, Junior Supervisor.

*(A momentary pause. Cromwell then stands and nods his head.)*

**Cromwell:** Yes, Colonel. Thank you for your time.

*(Cromwell walks away from the desk towards the door)*

**Langford:** Another thing, Simon.

**Cromwell:** Yes, sir?

**Langford:** We may be slow here in the Ethics Committee. That’s because we make sure we’re always correct. We never make educated guesses here, only calculated decisions. If you want to blindly jump into cases, join the Fire Suppression Department.
I wouldn’t look much further into this, for now. That sounds disappointing, yes, but your patience will be rewarded soon enough.
Besides, something tells me this won’t be the end of it. We’re only just getting started.

**Cromwell:** A calm before the storm.

*(Langford smiles.)*

**Langford:** Precisely.

**Cromwell:** Which Deepwell branch are they working on?

Also what do you mean that’s not how you eat a cheeseburger?

Site-17, the greatest hotpot of Foundation ethical violations. Rows and rows of cells filled with humanoid anomalies. Highly regulated, rarely enforced.

I read somewhere that Site-17 is currently doing very well for themselves, unlike most other Sites. Good for them, I suppose?

It just has me wondering though. I can’t shake it, and I don’t know if it’s just me being obsessed.

Ever since the GOC took over after the 2011 Arlington Summit, every facility in this Foundation went over a few bumps. Lay-offs, restructures, reassignments, changes in procedure. A lot of those scars still show until today.

But Site-17? It’s not just running, it’s *thriving*.

Am I just being paranoid?

What is going on in Site-17?

[10/31/2025, 1:24:23 PM] FROM: s.verlice@ethics.scp.int
Could you see if you have better luck accessing them for me? Just take a look at 239 and tell me what you can see. If you’re also blocked from seeing most of the content, then I’m inclined to believe Walker is telling the truth.

[10/31/2025, 1:17:58 PM] FROM: s.verlice@ethics.scp.int
Hey Cromwell's team. I tried accessing a number of the S-17 files – 4051, 7822, 239 – Can’t get past the description on any of them without hitting something that’s missing or redacted. I keep getting the same damn error message, `some string of numbers` that I can’t make heads or tails of.

[10/31/2025, 10:06:33 AM] FROM: s.cromwell@ethics.scp.int
This is bad. This is really bad. Just as we expected. ETTRA is on the move. Supervisor Langford is on his way to the O5. Law's Left Hand on standby. Bregman is doing it. He's actually doing it. The idiot is making himself a Coalition scapegoat.

Stand by, agents.

The `0000Lo0000` message was a major hint that was deleted when Act 1 ended. It seems Northwood wanted to send all their hints through `Ethics Committee Automated Decryption` then gave up on the idea.

## `helenawalker//file` Helena Walker - Ethics Committee Casefile
:::spoiler .md
```!
Helena Georgia Walker was born on March 25th, 1986 in Lincoln, New Hampshire. Walker received a private education, where she maintained a high GPA, and headed her school's debate team. She was accepted into Tufts University in 2003, and managed to graduate with a BS in Criminal Psychology within 6 semesters. Interviews with Walker's thesis advisors indicate she was interested in becoming a criminal prosecutor, or possibly joining the FBI, if given the opportunity.
The Global Occult Coalition became aware of Walker in 2008, when information she had proposed in her undergraduate thesis, The Means and Motives of Anti-Fraqing Terrorism in New York, allowed GOC agents to successfully identify and liquidate an anomalous ecoterrorist ring operating in Pennsylvania and upstate New York. Although the conclusions drawn in Walker's paper were ultimately inaccurate, It is believed Walker would have been capable of solving the case herself had she been aware of the existence of the veil, and been given access to the GOC's files on the case. Walker was approached by GOC officials with an offer of employment in November 2008, which she accepted within a week.
During her tenure as a GOC agent, Walker was rarely assigned fieldwork; Her specialty was largely administrative, coordinating large scale investigations, including some operations where the GOC worked with the Foundation or American Intelligence Agencies. Despite this, Walker is credited with solving approximately 5.4 cases per year. Interviewed coworkers have noted that she was generally hard working, driven, and had extremely good people skills, though all claimed to know nothing about Walker's personal life.
**ETTRA and Employment within the Foundation:**
In late 2022, after 14 years of employment with the GOC, Walker requested to be transferred to the Foundation's recently created ETTRA unit. Foundation and GOC ambassadors were enthusiastic about the idea, due to Walker's previous work as liaison between the two organizations, and the lack of experienced bureaucrats within ETTRA's ranks. Walker was officially transferred to ETTRA on January 15th, 2023, and was quickly given the role of Head of Coordinations, giving her significant power within the organization.
While Foundation ambassadors had hoped Walker would take a more even-handed approach in her work, it quickly became apparent that Walker's sympathies lied entirely with ETTRA's modus operandi. Foundation employees who communicated with Walker regularly complained about veiled threats, and an unwillingness to compromise. To date, two ethics committee investigations have been launched into Walker's behavior. While she received an official warning for inappropriate or abusive language towards other employees, neither investigation was able to determine that Walker was involved in any behavior which violated the limitations of her position.
**Involvement in Unauthorized Neutralization Conspiracy:**
While Walker was not the puppetmaster behind ETTRA's campaign of unauthorized neutralizations, her involvement was far from negligible. Her administrative experience was a weapon she wielded to covertly transfer SCPs not designated for neutralization into ETTRA's custody, without the knowledge of Foundation officials. With the evidence presented below, I intend to prove Walker was directly responsible for the acquisition of at least 37 contained SCPs, as well has hundreds of minor anomalies which lacked official SCP designations; Helena Walker is guilty of treason, the impersonation of Foundation officials, unauthorized transfer of anomalies objects, and the unauthorized termination of anomalies.
**Exhibit A: Commandeering of Foundation Security Systems**
Walker’s Foundation-issued computer had been modified with LAVeye, a spyware program developed by the GOC for the purposes of remotely monitoring groups of interest with their own surveillance technology. Through the use of social engineering, primarily through getting non-technology literate staff to download trojan horses into local SCiPnet servers, Walker managed to create a backdoor into the security systems of four sites (Site-223, Site-55, Site-113, and Site-61), and used the confidential information she gathered by doing so to increase ETTRA’s chances of acquiring desired anomalies.
Through looking at their automatic security logs, Site-55 security were able to confirm that an unidentified third party gained access to their security systems from 8:00 AM to approximately 10:00 AM on September 13th, which matches local records within Walker’s LAVeye instance, and notes taken by Walker about an all hands on deck meeting Director Adler had called due to a near containment breach the day prior.
**Exhibit B: Fraudulent SCiPnet Accounts**
Walker operated twelve fraudulent SCiPnet accounts, all of which were intended to spoof the accounts of high-ranking Foundation officials. Walker used these accounts to transfer anomalies into ETTRA custody without the knowledge of the officials transferring them.
Examples:
Username: metanoiaar@scp.int
Password: `0229ydrsx3268`
Explanation: Used to impersonate Amelie Rose Metanoia, the director of the Anomalous Entity Engagement Division. When using this account, Walker would usually claim that AEED had discovered a site which would be better equipped to contain an anomaly which was giving the targeted site trouble.
Username: cfcostello@scp.int
Password:  `1231c0987kc4361s2309`
Explanation: Camilla Francine Costello was a fictional persona adopted by Walker who claimed to be part of the Foundation’s Anomaly Transferal Committee. Walker would use this account to further the illusion that these transfers were legitimate, whenever one of her targets raised questions about authenticity.
Username: hacheya@scp.int
Password: `0009ryev1825`
Explanation: Anthony Hachey is the director of acquisitions at Site-17. Walker would use this account to get staff to transfer anomalous humanoids into ETTRA custody, by claiming Site-17 was better equipped to manage the mental health concerns of anomalous humanoids
Username: kellyyvonne@scp.int
Password: `0000Lo0000`
Explanation: Yvonne Kelly is a low ranking member of RAISA, tasked with investigating discrepancies in internal Foundation records. Walker utilized this account to cover her tracks, by reporting any holes in the records which would indicate fraudulent behavior as errors.
**Exhibit C: Unauthorized Surveillance on Foundation Employees**
Utilizing her fraudulent SCiPnet credentials, and her access to various site security systems,  as well as other social engineering methods, Walker collected various examples of high ranking Foundation officials engaging in behavior prohibited by the Foundation. It is believed Walker intended to use this information for blackmail purposes, however investigations have yet to reveal a concrete example of Walker doing so.
These files were located on a personal computer owned by Walker, which she attempted to destroy shortly before her apartment was raided by Foundation officials. All files were successfully recovered by investigative technomancers employed by the Foundation.
**Exhibit A: Commandeering of Foundation Security Systems**
Walker’s Foundation-issued computer had been modified with LAVeye, a spyware program developed by the GOC for the purposes of remotely monitoring groups of interest with their own surveillance technology. Through the use of social engineering, primarily through getting non-technology literate staff to download trojan horses into local SCiPnet servers, Walker managed to create a backdoor into the security systems of four sites (Site-223, Site-55, Site-113, and Site-61), and used the confidential information she gathered by doing so to increase ETTRA’s chances of acquiring desired anomalies.
**Excerpt of Interest from Walker’s Interrogation:**
Right, yes. I’ll get to the point.
Something is happening at Site-17. Something they don’t want you, me, or possibly even the O5s knowing about.
Site-17 was the only site where not a single member of senior staff responded to any of the emails I sent demanding the transfer of certain anomalies. Upwards of 200 emails total, over the last few years, using every email I had, and I never received a word in response.
It’s possible they somehow knew my emails were fraudulent, though I believe if that was the case, you would have started your investigation years ago. You all have been looking for an excuse to take ETTRA down a peg for years, so I can only assume that Site-17 didn’t alert you to my actions at all, which is strange, right? Why would Site-17 be stonewalling requests from ETTRA, the Ethics Committee, O5 representatives, or other sites if they weren’t attempting to hide something from the rest of the Foundation? They’re the only site that’s outright refused to allow ETTRA physical access to their site, and the only site that’s gotten in a protracted fire fight with our agents. Certainly makes you wonder what’s so important that they’d rather risk and inter-foundation conflict than allow us into their site, doesn’t it?
I don’t have the full picture, but I do have more evidence than what I just shared with you right now. I need a guarantee that whatever cell you throw me in will look more like an office than a room in the D-Class wing. If I’m going to be the GOC’s scapegoat, I might as well throw my lot in with those deciding my fate. I think my work with ETTRA is a pretty good example of the skills I can bring to the table within your organization.
Just take a look. `Walker-LTE-ET-44`
My job’s simple. I liaise between us and the GOC and make sure whatever object slated for destruction has a smooth handover to the Coalition. Usually you get some scientists protesting against it, or you need to push a little harder to get the ball moving, but it always ends the same way. It’s not an easy job, no, but without someone in my position the single thread maintaining the fragile relationship between us and the Coalition will snap in a moment’s notice.
Yeah, I get asked a lot by colleagues whether or not my role weighs me down. Do I ever feel any remorse after carting off a living object to be crushed against pavement by a shovel? That ought to be a great question, really.
Yes. Yes, I do.
Everyone knows the story of SCP-1609. You don’t hear the end of it if you’re in my shoes. It’s always the same point they make, that the GOC destroyed an anomaly and it came back to bite them in the ass.
When 396’s number rolled into my inbox, I knew that it wasn’t just a regular termination request. This request was charged, it being another teleporting chair and all. 121 attempts to destroy it, and its destruction wasn’t even confirmed.
Terminating our anomalies for the GOC is, most of the time, just procedure backed by a duty to uphold. This time it was personal.
Johannes Gunderson was one of the several humanoids from Site-17 whose terminations were escalated by the recent invasive ETTRA audit. It happened late into the night. One second of silence, then my inbox was full of pre-approved emergency liquidations. I had no idea what was happening. Maddening, that’s what it was.
When the GOC submits a motion to terminate one of the Foundation’s SCPs, there’s always a reason why. Housefire, containment breach, loss of life. Johannes Gunderson died for nothing. He died because of a hunch. Because ETTRA exaggerated his anomalous behavior and they had him shot.
Nobody’s paying attention. Not the Ethics Committee, not even the O5.
```!
Claushaven. It’s a portmanteau which means an enclosed place of safety. The actual Claushaven is up there somewhere in Greenland, a GOC station monitoring the area for activity. One of our warehouse facilities — Site-02, I think — is also over there. Never much to look at, given they don’t hold any SCPs.

This place was supposed to be a Claushaven of its own, a place of safety and refuge, for all kinds of people and anomalies. Now we’re screwed.

If anyone managed to find this message through the fucked up convoluted method I used to bypass AI security filters, please take what you’re about to read to heart.

There’s something happening here in Site-17. Maybe even several things.

You’ve read through my liquidation logs. All terminations under my direction. I suspect that not all of them are as they seem.

I didn’t initially suspect it but after seeing everything, it’s impossible to not think that way.

Staff dragging their feet. Construction and engineering crews being reassigned and given extra shifts. Food and supplies being rerouted to vacant containment wings.

Director Graham and Assistant Director Goode. I think they’re part of this.

I have no evidence. But BELIEVE me that I have never been more sure of anything else in my entire life.

The Ethics Committee needs to know about this.

Something horribly wrong is going on here in Site-17.

[[They’re keeping one alive]].

Nobody is looking for it. Nobody is paying attention.
```
## `they're keeping one alive` Dr. Elliot Goode
:::spoiler .md
```!
Dr. Elliot Goode always wanted validation.
He grew up as the youngest of seven children, often forgotten by his parents and siblings throughout childhood and only ever wearing hand-me-downs. It's not that they didn't love him, but rather they were in crippling debt due to a failed business venture before their seventh child was born. But this meant they were always working, and had scant time for little Elliot. His brothers and sisters were also too busy working themselves out of poverty to spend too much time with him, so he grew up not knowing how to socialize with others.
Despite this, he decided to pursue psychology after graduating high school, knowing that psychologists were in no shortage of people to talk to. He did well in college and university, but never really grasped the whole 'bedside manner' part of being a doctor, and was usually short with patients and often emotionally manipulated them. After graduating, Goode was scouted by the Foundation for being in dire financial straits and being willing to deal in less than ethical means.
Stationed at Site-17, he met future Director Thomas Graham, and the two became inseparable. As Graham developed a sadistic streak, Goode watched on in delight, forming one as well.

“You really are pathetic, you know that?
All those powers, and for what? A couple of reality anchors and you’re as useful as a hairless rat.
But Graham believes that even rodents can be useful to us in the name of knowledge.
Everyone here is working tirelessly to bring out the best you could offer, you know? I think we deserve some level of cooperation for that.
You’re crying now? Seriously? You selfish, disgusting, piece of shit.
But I don’t hold that against you.
Would you get mad at a rat for binge-eating its own shit in an alleyway? No, of course not. Because that’s what it was born to do. This is what you were born for, to bring us knowledge. You should be thankful. That’s probably going to be the only good, non self-centered thing to come out of your life.
We are honoring you, in a way. When the natives killed a bison, they didn’t let a single part go to waste. It was a way they honored the animal.

But honestly, if you ask me, the Coalition should’ve exterminated your pathetic kind four decades ago.
Eating up all our resources. You really are worthless, aren’t you? But oh well. Enjoy your stay here.
And you better get comfortable, because nobody is paying attention to you."

* **C** Simon Cromwell, Ethics Committee Junior Supervisor
* **G** Thomas Graham, Site-17 Director
* **C** is recording. **C** calls **G**.
**C:** Hello Director Graham. I'm sorry to disturb your busy schedule, but I needed to talk to you.
**G:** Why, hello, Mr. ...
**C:** Supervisor. Cromwell, Ethics Committee. Do you have a minute?
**G:** Of course I do. I always have time for the Ethics Committee.
**C:** I just wanted to check in on you about an irregularity on your list.
**G:** An irregularity. Well, I run a tight ship around here, and I think I would've noticed such a thing. However, please do talk to me, Lieutenant.
**C:** Well, as I'm sure you're aware, 17 has historically been a hotbed for cases from my department.
**G:** Ah, yes. A most unfortunate circumstance of most of the anomalies under our care being humanoids.
**C:** Right. And well, I was running some numbers last week, and I happened to notice that the number of cases from 17 took a... nosedive recently.
**G:** Perhaps an auspicious sign.
**C:** I also reached out to the Site-17 Ethics Committee liaison, Clara Manafort. Does that name ring a bell?
**G:** It does. Ms. Clara's mother has recently fallen ill, and she has taken some time off to tend to her. I personally approved her time off.
**C:** I uh, see. W-W-Well, Director Graham, I assume Ms. Manafort set up forwarding of emails to my department before she left.
**G:** Actually, Supervisor, my assistant Director, Elliot Goode, and myself made the executive decision to shutter the Ethics liaison office for the time being.
**C:** E-W-W-What? Y-You can't just stop handling Ethics complaints because you deem it convenient--
**G:** Patience, my friend. You did not allow me to finish. We have established a temporary United Front Ethics Review Board, manned by myself and Assistant Director Goode, as well as a few others.
**C:** I... But- I-
**G:** And to correct your earlier statement, the Foundation _had_ a process. Rest assured that there are no massive Ethics violations ongoing under our direct supervision. We are working in the best interests of the Coalition, as well as the Foundation, and the anomalies that are under our care.
**C:** But- But- The reports!
**G:** Our being handled internally, so you and your department don't have anything to worry about. I wouldn't look much further into it. Any other questions for me, Mr. Cromwell?
**C:** It's Supervisor.
**G:** Yeah, I hate to cut our phone call short, but Sites do not run themselves. If you'll excuse me, I have a meeting to attend. It was a pleasure.
**C:** Wait! I--
**G:** Goodby--

**Dr. Goode:** Alright everyone, I hope you all had a delightful, fulfilling, and contemplative lunch. Before we begin our interrogation of the subject again, I wanted to have a powwow with the team real quick. So everyone, gather ‘round.

*[There is a rustling sound and a few voices murmuring as they approach.]*

**Dr. Goode:** What the hell were you absolute chucklefucks doing this morning?! You call that "enhanced interrogation”? I didn’t realize we were out here playing patty-cake with the Girl Scouts!

*[There are murmurs.]*

**Dr. Goode:** I remember when we could demote lousy personnel to D-Class. Those were the good old days. Let me tell you all something, back when I was growing up, the teachers could hit the students if they were out of line. They would rap your knuckles with a yardstick, beat you with a paddle, or even just give you five across the cheek. Even if you didn’t like your teacher, you would still respect them because they put the fear of God in you!. And do you know why they did that? Because they cared about you and your learning. I have always believed that teaching is the noblest of professions. And that’s what I aim to be here for you all. A teacher. But… being a teacher requires your respect. Am I not worth your respect? Is that what you’re telling me? Because that’s what I think you’re telling me. I want to hear you all say it. So go on. Say it. Say it. I want to hear it.

**Dr. Koh:** Vitals are in optimal condition. My recommendation is to go light today. They likely won’t be able to handle any strenuous physical strain. Go for something less physical, maybe? Or you can rest today. It still needs some time to heal since its last… Dr. Santos?

*(Dr. Santos clutches at her notes and looks up at Dr. Koh from her seat.)

**Dr. Koh:** Do you?

**Dr. Santos:** Excuse me?

**Dr. Koh:** Do you really *got it*, Sylvia?

**Dr. Santos:** I’ve done this nearly a hundred times. I think I know what to do.

**Dr. Koh:** I’m not *your* Medical Supervisor, so it’s not my place to say, but you need at least a day’s break from this.

**Dr. Santos:** You know that’s not happening.

*(Dr. Santos pauses.)*

**Dr. Santos:** You know Goode won’t be happy with that.

**Dr. Santos:** What workplace allows something like this to happen?

**Dr. Santos:** Then what are you trying to say?

**Dr. Koh:** Did he do that?

*(Dr. Santos pauses, then looks away.)*

**Dr. Santos:** Doesn’t matter anymore. I just want this project to be finished.

**Dr. Santos:** Every single night before sleep, I hear h- …the subject’s voice. I can’t get them off my mind.
